I think I've found one.

I've been working on imposition for weeks. At the start I tried to keep count of the time, but now I've lost track. It's been over a month, probably nearing two, and I've had little to no result from imposition.

I might have gotten a flash of my tulpa once or twice, but even then it was unclear. I'm not quite sure what I'm doing wrong, but I don't think I'm focusing hard enough to impose my tulpa into reality.

The only solution I can think of is going back to traditional tulpaforcing (i.e. actually sitting down and putting all of my concentration toward making my tulpa.)

I really don't want to do that, but I will if I have confidence it'll help.

Would that be a right way to go about it?

But you didn't even talk about what you were trying.

Imposition is hard for most people. You're most likely not doing anything wrong, so long as you're visualizing them following you around everywhere, and staring at them (and/or feeling them with your real hands) sometimes.

Describe what you're doing for additional assistance.

Lyra: human female, ~17

Evan: boy, ~14, was an Eevee

Anera: anime-style girl, ~12; Lyra made her

My blog :: Time expectations are bad (forcing time targets are good though)

Throughout the day I picture my tulpa following me around, usually sitting in a desk in one of my classes so I won't be staring at them full-on.

Basically the same way at home.

Seems like a cold cut case of...

IMPATIENCE

I think the phrase 'there is no wrong way to do it' doesn't mean that every method will work for everyone, but that if you find something that feels like it's working, even if it isn't a method that has been mentioned before, go for it.

As far as the method you're using, I personally would suggest more active participation so you can push it a bit further. Try mixing smell and sound and touch and as many sensations as you can. If you need to, visualize the sense in your head first, and try to imitate the sense in the real world.

We found something interesting as far as touch sensations worked for us, though it may seem a bit backwards to some--when you have a very strong idea of the space your tulpa occupies, and can mime the shape well, we found that closin your physical and mental eyes actually helped force the mind to 'feel' for the tulpa, rather than simply be aware of it, which REALLY pushed our touch imposition along, and then further increased visual imposition

Dude, I'm working on imposition for what, four months now? And I wish I had even one unclear flash happen to me.

Patience, my man, patience.
