Koji October 23, 2012 October 23, 2012 So, as the title suggests, I've been thinking about musical servitors. What if we could program the servitors to play a note when given a certain command? If one plays a single note for the time that they are forcing it into the servitor, it should be possible. Through this you could possibly make a piano(or some similar instrument) quite easily, for your playing when and wherever you want, although only you could hear, and you might look a bit odd. Thoughts? http://tulpa.info/forums/Thread-Koji-and-Catelyn-Of-Deserts-and-Snowmen
Guest EnnervateIndustries October 23, 2012 October 23, 2012 That seems like it would work fine, I've been able to replicate an orchestra in my head sometimes then I'm bored. Sounds like a lot of work and "programming," though, and it would be hard if you didn't have a reference (i.e. a piano) or perfect pitch.
Guest Anonymous October 23, 2012 October 23, 2012 I think we had the idea of an mp3 servitor a while ago. Not sure where though.
Hush October 24, 2012 October 24, 2012 I think I have a formless mp3 servitor. perpetually set to randomly scrub my subconscious for music and set it to play in the background unless instructed otherwise. Its going 24/7 whether I realize it or not
Koji October 24, 2012 Author October 24, 2012 Aw, I felt original for a minute. The mp3 idea is similar, and probably simpler. Also, doesn't 24 hour music get annoying after a while? http://tulpa.info/forums/Thread-Koji-and-Catelyn-Of-Deserts-and-Snowmen
Hush October 24, 2012 October 24, 2012 I'm not even aware of it most of the time until I pay attention to it.
Wolfe October 24, 2012 October 24, 2012 Do you think it's possible that the musical servitor can blend songs/mp3s into each other like if it were a mixtape or many songs into an hour or 2 in length?
