Even though things aren't going really well I have to say that I REALLY enjoy reading this log. It's so much different from all the other progress reports and it's full of twists and turns. I had problems with Lyra but I can't say they were as severe as yours. You're right you can change personality but it seems you don't want her to change because of that feeling of being challenged. Also I had a few times Tessa would want some milk. I also didn't really poor milk on the floor but gave her some in a bowl in my mind. It may feel a little weird but if you feel like you're faking them take some yourself and just like you work on touch, try to taste the milk. Also Tessa asked me to carry her upstairs in real life. Now that made me feel stupid! I'm not hallucinating her yet but I'm working on it, thats why I felt so stupid. Luckily noone was around to see me except my tulpae. Tessa thought it was fun so it wasn't all that bad.

 

I really hope you will keep updating this, because I find this to be the best progress report I've read so far. (Sorry other people)

When I think of the things host did to me in the past, I don't feel anything. I don't really feel anything now. Sometimes anger, sometimes some sadness because I knoe I'n wrong. Host can't fix me.

 

I feel better after saying that, but still really hurt.

 

I still feel agressive. I saw some of the things the host did why I was away. I remember standing where everything was a light gray black. I was scared, but not terrified. The anger kept me from that. the host betrayed me, promised never to get rid of me. I don't know how to control the anger. The host is concerned right now because random parts of its head feels warm.

 

The host is thinking of getting rid of me again just now. Host really can't be trusted. They are smiling, they like this game.

 

Someone really needs to develop a method to change the traits of a tulpa after she's created, I mean: "Host can't fix me". And before she says something like she feels sad because she knows she's wrong yet can't change herself. If anything, people should think a lot about creating a tulpa.

 

There was something in the progress report of FillyFooler where he said that he took out some dark thing in the brain of his tulpa and that erased her "malevolence". But that's only symbolism and it doesn't work for everyone, I'm one that can't work with symbolism-only. A method simply needs to be developed. A tulpa being something she hates is something that not only avoided should be fixed.

If you read my earlier entries I did mess with her mind to remove her ability to cause me headaches, it went very bad. And while she has broken our promise to stay out of each others head...I'm not going to mess with her mind that way again. Everytime I go to try to help her mature or learn morals I find I'm having to learn them first, sometimes teaching her at the same time. If Tulpas were made as a personal test or learning experience pink has been doing a great job.

 

Yes, I read your earlier entries and even so she said that "the host can't fix me", so it went wrong because you erased memories, you didn't try to change her, furthermore, when she "accidentally" changed herself to pinkie pie you told her that she wasn't pinkie pie and she turned back into pinkamena, and for god's sake, she wanted to be called Grace and you didn't even let she had this as a nickname. It's like you're reading the "DONT'S" of making a tulpa and doing every single one of them.

 

If you're willing to change her into something not-so-pinkamena then just reason with her and say that she would no longer feel only sadness or anger and would also know joy, happiness and a lot of emotions, you only would have to change her personality, but for me it's clear that you don't want to change it.

 

Not because she doesn't want you to, only because you're unreasonable. You're acting like you don't want her to do X and Y but don't want to change her personality not to do X and Y. It's not like you can simply teach her morals if she doesn't even have an empathy trait. It's like talking to a psychopath why is wrong to do X, considering that this psycho is not on a society that could punish him for doing X. If you created her to like X, she'll like X untill you change her, you can't teach a person not to be what it is. You even mentioned a trait to make her not having a moral, why did you even create something you don't like? Did you think that she would turn alright, like, your very own psycho-mind-buddy that's mean but not to you, just everyone else, considering that you're the only who she can interact with?

I feel that you're quite rude to your Tulpas. Firstly, i see you reply very bluntly that they can't do certain things because they're Tulpas, like eating or brushing their teeth, which certainly hurt their feelings while you could've described how it feels, or joked about how silly it seems to brush your teeth and eat and do human things.

Punishing is not a way of teaching if you don't explain clearly why they deserve being punished, and make them feel sorry. Also you clearly tortured her, removing her memories and tearing her apart...

It seems you didn't talked enough with Pinkamena, and i didn't really see any explaining done on morals and the similar. You tried to force her to change without giving her any reason to, and you rejected her many times.

Do you think you have tried talking to her properly? Calmly, asking her reasons to be like she is, and explaining why it would be for the better if she tried to change? And not in the usual "i'd be better off without you" i've seen recurringly, but telling her "you'd be less stressed, you'd feel better, and i would accept you more easily. Don't you want to be loved, don't you want to feel better? If you did, just imagine all the adventures we could have, together." something like that, manipulating her towards a change...?

Most likely no. He probably just requested a self-ban to be able to deal with everything and find his own way to do it, he really needs to get out of here right now, he spends too much time here.

 

There's too many questions right now for you, Pinkamena, but the obvious one would probably be:

What happens during these 3 weeks and what are the plans?

Sad that I'll have to wait for so long for a reply, maybe I'll try a tulpa thread on /mlp/.

 

Did you see how having a honest trait helps? You probably would go for a month with she pretending things if she was able to lie to a direct question. Advices are helpful.
