tania May 20, 2013 May 20, 2013 Im wondering why play music for ones tulpa at all unless its something new neither of you have ever heard before. A tupla can access anything you've ever listened to anyway any time it wants. Ive found that Jesse listens to his own music (I guess must access it from deep memories of mine thou he's not meant to be accessing my mind but its the only thing I can think of how he's got the music). I personallly think it wouldnt be too hard to listen to what I want to as well, even when I am hearing him listening to his music as the music would be coming from completely different places. (When he's listening to music its awesome as I hear it how he does and he hears it differently to how I listen to music and hence I havent wanted to play different music when he's listening to his). When Im hearing his music.. its coming from within my brain and thou its clear and easy to hear (I dont have to strain in anyway at all to hear it), it shouldnt at all stop me from being able to focus on music coming from outside of myself due to the complete difference in locations its coming from. This would make it easy to focus on one or the other (thou the other would still be playing as well). It would be completely confusing thou to be hearing different music from your different ears as in that case the music would all mix seeing its coming from same source eg outside source. Of course, then again, tulpas might remember things more vividly, so there's that to consider.
Chupi May 21, 2013 May 21, 2013 I know that I have pretty darned vivid memories of at least some songs. I cannot recall or imagine music very well, and assumed that my memory of it must suck too. A couple times fairly recently though, I woke up from a dream to fully vivid hallucinatory music playing. One time it was the theme to a show (so I'd heard it a bunch of times), and it had lyrics in a language I don't understand. All instruments and vocals were there, and the vocals didn't sound at all indistinct or wrong. Had the lyrics been wrong, it would sound "off" to me, though I cannot consciously recall them. May as well have been a mental .wav file. So I conclude that my tulpas can listen to music on their own pretty effectively if they want to. Still, there's something to be said for experiencing it together, and that's something we can't do without me listening to it IRL. Jesse was hearing it in all the songs glory throu what must of been the access of my memory (thou I never remember hearing it like that, actually I know I havent as he hears music far more fully then I, it was magnificant). He was aware of every instrument beat of it, every note.. The tulpa isnt "remembering" it as such but like playing it again. Still, there's something to be said for experiencing it together, and that's something we can't do without me listening to it IRL. One can listen to it together throu the tulpa. Its no less intense or less vivid as its coming from inside ones head. Im starting to think that what I experienced must be unusual due to the comments here? Id assumed it would of been a normal kind of Tulpa experience. Has anyone here had an experience like Im describing with their tulpa? and be able to share listen to the music throu the the tupla himself is playing? Lacquer May 22, 2013 May 22, 2013 Im starting to think that what I experienced must be unusual due to the comments here? Id assumed it would of been a normal kind of Tulpa experience. Well... "Is (insert thing related to creation) normal?" NOTHING is normal when you're talking about tulpae. Everyone's experience is going to be different; ergo we can't tell you what's normal and what's not. Chances are you're going to be told just to roll with it, so stop asking. It's your mind, not ours, you're the one that's going to know if something is normal or not.
