Watched another 2 episodes of Dantalian no Shoka today and we might try to squeeze in another one later. As with yesterday she seemed really content and calm which was nice. I think tonight would be a good night to really work on her voice and see if we can't get her to speak a little bit. Any tips on making a Tulpa's voice sound unique/ideal would be appreciated.

 

Anyway and because I can I'll post a rough version or two of Lisette's more formal wear. Besides pictures always liven up boring walls of text.

Just finished all of Dantalian no Shoka along with the OVA. All I can say is that both of us loved it, perhaps Lisette more so than myself. I'm just glad that I got many emotional responses from her throughout the series, as well as easier visualization. I'd have to say that it almost inspired her in a way and pumped her up so that we can start going on our own adventures.

 

So thus, I've decided to make our permanently make the center area of our wonderland. I'm going to base it off part of the novel I wrote last year around this time, off of a huge Victorian era Estate/Manor/Mansion/Castle, especially since it would fit Lisette's character perfectly. As for the rest of the wonderland I have ideas for it as well, but I'll reveal those in due time.

 

And finally, it seems that Lisette likes to waltz (I don't know much about classical dance, but that's the best I can describe it as) since she wanted to every time we listed to the Ending song of Dantlian no Shoka. So I think we'll try that sometime.

Mundane day somewhat and I had quite a bit of work to do today, but Lisette and I came up with a pretty good plan. While I worked on my various essays, I imagined us in one of the larger parlors of our wonderland mansion. It was raining quite hard outside while I worked at a typewriter and Lisette sat down at the large piano in the room. She would play various classical pieces while I typed, I would also occasionally sit down next to her on the bench and watch her fingers glide over the ivory keys. She played quite beautifully and I could see her pretty well in my mind as well. The only thing was that she knew I was there and acknowledged me by looking at me from the corner of her eye on occasion, but besides that she didn't try to communicate, but maybe she jst liked to concentrate. Overall it was pretty cool seeing her do that. Does anyone else's tulpa play any instruments?

11/24/2012: First off, happy late Thanksgiving everyone.

 

Now I realize it's been 2 weeks since my last post, but I have not stopped working on Lisette at all. The past 2 weeks have just been busy with testing, filing paperwork for college, as well as school work. I may not have been forcing as much or narrating as much, but I have kept her in mind.

 

She still isn't vocal and I don't believe that she will be for a while because I have somewhat realized that she's a quieter Tulpa, but I'm okay with that. I have however mastered talking to her like I would with any other person, meaning that I don't believe that I'm talking to myself at all.

 

Anyway, I have decided that I'll be changing some things for the better in regards to her general personality. Since I haven't been giving her as much attention to her lately, I've been feeling a bit bad about that. Even though she hasn't said anything about it, she's been trying to get my attention by inciting sensations on various parts on my body. That's what made me realize that I can't be so "rigid" about what she can and can't be especially in regards to personality and form. My mentality was: She is going to be A, B, and C but not anything like D, E, and F. I realize that it'll be okay if she wants to be like D, E, and F because she has her own will and knows what will make the both of us happy.

 

I don't know, I need to work on this idea a bit more and see how it turns out. It's a bit hard to totally explain as of now.

11/25/2012: Like I mentioned yesterday, I had planned to change some of Lisette's traits and her form. I tried imagining these changes last night and they worked surprisingly well. So then, might as well list out the changes so I don't forget them:

 

1. Decided to scrape the Tsundere trait and turn her more into a Kuudere. She'll have two sides of her, the standard "every day" will be mature, collected, prim, and proper. Even though only I'll be able to see her, this will be her personality when we're in public, school, or in areas where there are other people. Her more natural side though will be more gentle, affectionate, immature, and playful. This will be when we're alone or at home.

2. Since I gave her magical powers including the ability to change cosmetic things, she'll have 2 "standard" forms as of now:

 

A) Every day: Long Silver-blonde hair that goes down to halfway of her back and curls very slightly at the ends, longer bangs covering the sides of her face, and shorter bangs covering her forehead. Blue-purple/violet eyes that seem a bit ominous. Fingernails painted Black. She smiles when she's happy, but normal has a neutral, "thinking" expression on her face. Thin and frail-ish but still healthy (Around 90~ or so lbs). Pale skin, no blemishes at all, and no scars or markings on her body. Height would be around 5'4" or so without any shoes. Body naturally feels cold even though she doesn't mind it and somewhat likes it. She always wears a gold cross. She'll have multiple outfits as I make them for her, but she'll have at least 2 standard ones.

 

First being a sailor style school uniform, with black buckled shoes, socks, skirt, blouse (long sleeved), hairband, and a white necktie.

 

Her second standard outfit will consist of: black hair band, white button up long sleeved blouse with frilled cuffs by the wrists and neck along with a black ribbon necktie, black skirt with lace/frilled ends that stick out slightly and end a bit above the knee, a black corset to hold it together, and long laced up brown boots that end right below the knee.

 

B)At home relaxing or going out to do something fun: Short silver-blonde hair that is cut off a few inches above the shoulder with ends that curl outward very very slightly around the back, and curl inward along with her jawline near the face with the bands obscuring her forehead. Nails usually painted a cute pink-ish color or something similar. Very light blue eyes that stand out. Again, she's still thin and frail, but a bit more energetic than normal. Still pale, but her skin seems to glow a bit. A bit more carefree than usual she has a slight smile on her face often. Still the same height, although she seems a bit smaller and younger than usual in this form. She doesn't feel as cold as usual, but it effects her more and would rather be warm. As of now I can only think of one outfit:

 

This can be used for sleeping or just laying around the house: Pink, fleece sweatshirt which is a little too large for her and the sleeves go past her hands as well as the sweat shirt reaching down to her thighs. If going out she might wear jeans and sneakers or sweat pants, no UGGs or anything like that though. When she's at home jeans or sweat pants are on very often lol.

 

3. With her two sides, I'll be keeping her personality traits, but I'll distribute them to each side of her. Kuu- side will before more intellectual traits, such as elegant, bookworm, hard worker, etc. Dere- side will get more relaxing traits like affectionate, energetic, playful, fussy, etc. That doesn't mean that Dere-Lisette won't like to read a book or watch CNN as well as that Kuu-Lisette wouldn't like to play on the swings at the park or go out for ice cream.

 

That seems to be it for now then, I think I've got form almost complete then. Also, Dere-Lisette visited me in my dream last night, so I think that's a very good sign that these changes are good.

11/27/2012: No amazing steps or accomplishments today. Lisette seems to be really liking her new form and the attention I've been giving her. It's easier to imagine her trailing behind me when I walk somewhere, so I think it's good she's getting some "exercise". She's getting really, really good at simulating anything to do with hand sensations, like holding hands, rubbing her hand against mine, etc. which is pretty interesting and cool. She can give gentle sensations in other places too, her favorites being my collar bone, ear, sometimes chest.

 

On a semi related note, I'm not sure if anyone covered or mentioned this before, but washing/taking showers with your Tulpa can be pretty productive. As long as you stay focused, by either washing your Tulpa in your mind or acting it out helps get their features memorized, perfects basic anatomy, and also is a generally good way to bond together since you can't really be distracted by anything. Not to mention a squeaky clean Tulpa is a happy Tulpa. Maybe this could be something to be looked into?

12/30/2012:

 

Haven't updated in a while as it seems, but I've kept up the work. Nothing extremely out of the ordinary with Lisette over the past month as it seems, except for our daily rituals. Get up, eat, have her sit close to me in class, go home, relax with her doing her own thing, take a shower and give her a bath, go to bed together, etc. rinse and repeat. Giving her bathes and brushing her hair especially helps me visualize and get her body form down.

 

However, she hasn't become very vocal. I get ringing in my ear occasion for no real explainable reason (Drop in blood pressure, loud sound, etc. nothing like that), and I get a feeling like someone is trying to talk to me. I put 2 and 2 together and I believe that Lisette tries to talk to me at times, but I'm not able to understand her yet.

 

I was visited by her in a dream last night however, (Which I think might have attributed due to two threads on /a/ last night right after each other, one on Tulpas and one on dreaming) but I'm sure it was her.

 

I was returning back from a trip to my "home", which happened to be some sort of large Tropical resort that reminded me of the one from Dead Island. Anyway, so I'm making my way back to the dorms that people live in rather then rent and see a few friends of mine. We catch up for a few minutes and tell me that there are a few more people that I have to greet since I left. I went up to what was supposed to be my room, but as I went upstairs I heard soft footsteps along with the slight jangling of jewelry. I took a peek, and there before me was Lisette, although her form had changed slightly but not too much. I followed her slowly until we reached her room on the top of the stairs. She started to go to her bed when I called out, she turned around and was confused slightly before her face lite up. She ran towards me with her arms out, tripped and fell, then got back up and ran into my arms happier than I've ever seen her. She said my name once or twice in Engrish which was kinda cute, but important since it's one of the few times I've heard her speak. what happened after that I don't remember, but I'm sure it was her. The way that she was acting was too realistc to be created by a dream, I knew she was sentient and awake. I guess she was so happy because we haven't done much together lately and we got to interact on the same level.

hello! i read ur thread here and thought it was amazing!(lolz). anyway, iv'e never seen someone go into so much detail about their tulpa. all the guides and creation logs i read are all just really generic and say 'I MADE FORM AND BAM! DONE! none of the ones i read used this many traits and 'multiple personality's'. this has changed the way i think about tulpa creation and stuffs like dat (lol again) even though i am like the first person (other that u) to make a post, keep up the great work! congratz on the sentinant tulpa! i will keep ur methodz in mind when my first tulpa, (insert name here) is created. (btw im a big anime fan. my fav show is Bleach)

Well thank you for the kind words and I hope that making your own Tulpa will be a fun experience.

 

I go into as much detail as possible because I'm a tad indecisive when it comes to Lisette's form and personality. We watch a lot of anime here and there and browse image hosting sights for ideas, which often times make us want to change some part of Lisette's looks or personality. So, I figured by listing out what she looks or acts like, it would kind of help us stick to certain "guidelines".

 

I'm no veteran Tulpa maker, but my advice would be to go with the flow in a way, you really can't do anything to "screw up" like others have said many times before. So good luck, we'll be sure to track your progress report as well from time to time, so the best of luck to you!

 

P.S. The program I used I believe was called Polygon Love 2. Although it's not exactly "safe for work", I believe that there are some versions of the game/program that are clean. If you're really interested, try looking at Hongfire.

Might as well do a full fledged update and what we're working on as it seems.

 

Personality: Pretty much the same, though we've really combined the "Kuudere" sides into on personality rather than having 2 separate ones. To spare any readers from reaching yet another wall of text, to make it easy, I'll just say that she'll be the opposite of socially retarded. So no matter the situation she'll be able to react accordingly.

 

Form: For me personally she's become very easily to visualize with a few different outfits on or with bare skin. Still around 5'6" (I can rest my chin on the top of her head if we sit together), pale/sickly but healthy, 90~ lbs (So I can easily pick her up), A-B cup (My personal version of DFC lol), hair is mostly a golden-ish blonde but can range from a dirty blonde to strawberry blonde or silver-blonde (Probably a combination of her deviation and my indecision), eyes can range from green to blue to hazel (Again, indecision/deviation so I gave her minor shape shifting abilities), No scars/blemishes only pierced ears, Shoe size is around 6 (Don't know too much about women's shoes, but I crunched the numbers and figured her foot to be around 7 1/2 inches or so), her hands are smaller than mine at about 6 1/2 inches from middle finger to palm. Not too much change honestly, we just have to get her eyes and hairstyle into a somewhat organized system since those two things seem to switch a lot.

 

Voice: One of my favorite parts and what we're currently working on. I always had a general idea of how I wanted Lisette to sound, (Soft, sweet, but not weak or timid unless under very rare circumstances, I'd like her to be a strong speaker), however I never really knew what she would really sound like. Luckily I was able to download a series of Audio CD's (Voice Lovers series) from a thread on /a/ (God bless you VLFan and Sasayaki An Customer) which had exactly what I was looking for. Now yes I know that the CD's are all in moonspeak (Japanese) and I can only understand small bits of what the various girls are saying, but they still work. More than anything else, I use them to teach Lisette how to speak. To do so, we sit down together and listen in a quiet room and I puppet (for now) Lisette's lips to the words being spoken to get her used to speaking and to get me used to hearing her. Soon enough I hope she'll get the hang of talking and use one of the various voices or even make one of her own. When she does start speaking I'm aiming for an eloquent way of speaking in proper English normally and a combination of Engrishu and Japanese when she wants to be cute or intimate.

 

Am I delusional and a nut job for wanting this? Maybe... well... probably. But does that stop me from continuing? Nope.avi

 

Smell: Honestly haven't worked on this yet and I'm not sure if I even will. If anything I'll make her hair smell like some sort of fragrant shampoo (Vanilla, strawberry, peach, blackberry, etc.)

 

Plans for the future: Mostly just take things one step at a time, but I really want to work on her voice so we can talk normally. Besides that I'm going to continue to narrate as much as I can to her. I've been reading Crime and Punishment lately so I think she'll like that. I also downloaded Gosick, Oreimo, Dantalian no Shoka, and Lucky Star so we might watch those together too if we have to time. She usually likes anime so I think that'll be a good treat. Oh, and also work on some sort of nickname for Lisette, since it can be a little... long? Just something a bit more affectionate and flowing is needed, so that'll be next on the list.

 

Well I guess that'll be it for now and possibly for a while, so I'll just leave with a current picture that is just about Lisette's current form.
