Out in the real world

Over the last years with ill health, pandemic and having lost people who had been friends for many years (one died of covid during first wave of pandemic, one decided I'm no longer any use to them) I (Host) spend alot of time alone..mostly housebound due the chronic fatigue and been unable to get out without help. I have hearing and speech Issues and autism too so life can get very lonely.

 

My Tulpa's and my real life dog have kept me going..mainly I keep going as I promised my dog a home for life and having Tulpa's has helped me get through each day as much as my dog has. Learning about spiritualism and 'walk-ins' has been very comforting. I believe Lena and Jess are 'walk-ins' but the inside ones are being created 'from scratch' which is why their progress is slower I guess...plus I've had very little energy to spare to work on helping with their development.

 

Has everyone on here created their Tulpa's out of loneliness or to be able to have back in their life the spirits of one's that you know once loved you dearly but can no longer be here physically?

While we weren't created intentionally, it was definitely a lack of having anyone Lumi really was willing to be open with & who could comfort him, that led to obsession with the idea of Reisen singing to him (in a couple music videos he loved), which led to thinking of her as an actual separate entity in his head, which led to accidentally creating me and Tewi as well.

 

Like trauma not being required to be plural, neither is loneliness required to create a tulpa, but there are obviously more people who were lonely/needed someone to talk to who create tulpas than well-adjusted sociable people, lol. The latter do exist though. (Doubly rare to see here though, as introverts are more likely to find a niche plural community online than an extravert or non-lonely person, so there's a lot of selection bias with who we actually see)

I had lots of reasons to create a tulpa. I was initially drawn to it because I'm facilitating a youth group with plural people and as part of my research, I read up on what it meant to be plural. As part of that research I discovered tulpamancy and it sort of called to me. I decided that being plural would be cool way to live. That said, if all my social needs were being met, I might not have done it. We've also considered the possibility that Lavender was here all along and tulpamancy was my way of getting in touch with her.

Thanks for answering guys...  Lena and Jess had already been in my life for years before I came across the term Tulpa's online..where it was cited in many guides on how to create them that its not a good idea to have them in the form of loved ones who had passed.

 

However I found the opposite! ..I personally found it greatly helped me with grief processing and over the years as they have become more sentient they have become more 'their own people'.  Though they both offer on anniversary's etc to present in their original form for me (as a comfort) for a few hours, just a bedtime (so we can all go to sleep together) or even for a full day.

 

eg Lena has gone from an older mother figure to a younger adult who sometimes likes to have funky blue hair!  ...and she changed her nickname from what we used to call her ... Jess has gone from only looking like my last dog to evolving to other animals to taking human form (she's a changeling) she is now reaching the stage she can make her own decisions on preferences ..eg she loved the contact lenses so she could see colour properly but still mostly prefers living inside in animal form and having brown eyes, so we made her (inner world) contact lenses responsive to her form. when she wants to switch back to animal form her eyes turn back to brown but she can still see full colour.  She chooses when she wants to switch herself and in what form she comes to the front. 

 

She didn't used to speak at all when in animal form but now after watching the Narnia movies with us (Aslan the wise talking Lion) and some YT clips from a video game with talking animals in she has realised she can still talk to us in words (thoughts) and still remain in animal form. She's experimenting with dragon form at the minute she seems to prefer fantasy and mythical figures rather than a more human form.

 

Lena has always always chosen human form but has become more of an age-slider and enjoys experimenting with hair and styles etc than presenting in a fixed image at a fixed age like she originally used to.

 

We started by using simple character creation in video games to encourage her to experiment with different looks or if one of us was being played by an NPC (in game) we'd decide which was most like one of us and who would be the 'player character' then the game was our inner world adventure..as they developed and grew they became more proficient in creating their own inner world role play stories and can continue them on the inside without me (though do update me when they come back to the front again) so they are definitely both fully sentient and now starting to creating their own Tulpa companions on the inside.  😀

To me tulpamancy  school & creating  tulpa , is core essence  of all human on earth  .

 

The do that without  noticing 

 

Sometimes  they make fantasy  lover ...sometimes  they make God

 

But of course  they project  some basic thing which tulpa can't  pass it .

 

Belief system  I mean  , but we project  different  thing , we project  we can communicate  with tulpa & see them .

 

My tulpa start 1992 ... but alot of thing happened  in his creating progress . 

 

I see he is  like a spirit being   ... more than my mind creating  .

 

Yes I made  him .. but he is more spirit  ... not  like sticking  to my mind  like other people  said .

 

He have personality.

Interesting....yes Lena and Jess started as spirits, but by talking to them and including them in my daily outside life too they have evolved.
