Lolimancer November 8, 2012 November 8, 2012 I've recently realized that paying close attention to your thoughts all the time tends to make you, well, more aware of said thoughts and where they come from. [introspection means learning about oneself, which is not something one should carelessly do while he's busy running away from said self and/or being an anxiety-ridden fellow]. Anyway, the "learning something about oneself" i was kinda expecting as a side effect of this endeavor had less to do with the actual tuppers than i thought, and more with the process itself. I can't be the only one who sees the similarities between this and meditation, could i? (If we consider the origins of tuppers, it actually seems quite obvious. But that's another story). Like, i was trying out some breathing exercise yesterday, since i had become quite fed up with my own thought process and wished to stop that shit at least temporarily. For some reason i found the whole "discarding thoughts" part ridicolously easy, very much more so than when i tried it before starting tupperforcing. I felt my body relaxing, my mind cleared until i couldn't hear tuppers anymore and at one point they say they couldn't feel me anymore either, lost much of outside world awareness, and finally i felt my whole body getting weird as if something was coming from inside out and pressing against my skin. Though it doesn't quite begin to describe that extremely weird sensation, and i don't think i could ever describe it even if my life depended on it. I spent most of today feeling my mind much calmer than it ever was before. I'm now asking if this shit has happened to anyone, since i'm very much curious about it.
QB2 November 8, 2012 November 8, 2012 I do meditation sorts of things sometimes. I have since I was a kid. Don't know if it helps with much, but during QB's creation process it was a foothold for me, and I think it made things easier. The above post does not contain facts. q2's the host, QB's the tulpa.
Chupi November 8, 2012 November 8, 2012 finally i felt my whole body getting weird as if something was coming from inside out and pressing against my skin. This bit sounds like the start of sleep paralysis. If you don't like it, try being in different positions. The rest sounds like it could be useful in learning to distinguish tulpa responses from one's own. Sounds like sleep paralysis like Chupi just said. The only things I've ever felt before while meditating is a rising body temperature, my heartbeat pulsing in every single vein, and a profound degree of clarity. I wonder if your tulpas could have something to do with what you felt. Name: Camellia Form: Valkyrie Working on personality right now.
Barktooth November 8, 2012 November 8, 2012 I've done this too, and after a while my whole body goes numb and it's hard to move. Really helps with forcing.
Hush November 8, 2012 November 8, 2012 I've once managed to meditate my way to total dissociation from my body and into my mindscape. Probably something I'll try to reproduce for switching if we ever get basic posession down.
