I'm sorry my last thread was so recent, but I really need help here. I've been working on visualisation for over 2 weeks now, and I've barely finished with a small section of her tail. I love Colgate to bits, she's become a huge part of my life, one that I'm not willing or ready to give up. I devote so much time to her. I wish I could quit my martial arts classes just so that I could spend more time with her, but my parents won't let me. I don't want to give up, I don't think I could. But at the rate we're going, it feels like it'll be years before we're finished. If anyone has any words of advice, any advice at all, I don't think I could ever thank you enough. Please.

If you're thinking of forcing as a chore, don't, treat it like visiting a close friend. (cause that's what it basically is)

Also, every person's tulpa creation process is different. Take me, for example, visualization was a snap, but personality isn't exactly easy. What you could do is to try to start on personality or simply work on narration, one of those could be where you progress quickly. Past a certain point, she can actually help you concentrate, too. It also may help to go about visualization differently too.

Could you elaborate on your process?

If you're really going slowly with visualisation, than I'd advise starting with personality. Once a tulpa has sentience it tends to be easier to visualise, and you could use the time to narrate, rather than it being down time.

Edit: read your other stuff. Where are you exactly on terms of your tulpa's development state?

The tail thing may just be deviation, and if that were do then you shouldn't try to fight it.

I already finished with personality, and I narrate to her 5 days out of 7 for at least half an hour. She is already sentient, and I have managed to conquer my concentration problem. Its just both she and I hate the tail deviation. She's told me she has no idea why it does that, and that she'd much rather have the predetermined design. Sorry if I'm not being clear, its just that recently, I feel like my mind on the subject has just been a bunch of "I don't know's", and I really need help :(

I'd personally say just let it happen. Chances are, if you want a pony, she'll stay a pony. You could also ask her to aid you when concentrating while forcing, others on these forums mention doing it.

http://tulpa.info/forums/Thread-Forcing-Maxyp-s-Tips-and-Tricks This guide fascinates me, and may help you out some.

I think you may be focusing too hard? Don't worry so much about the little deviations like that, they will stabilize in time. Just continue moving on, and go back over it later. Maybe you will find it ends up 'sticking' in a way that you both enjoy that might be only slightly different than what you are forcing it to be. Let your mind explore the options a bit and you may find it's easier to hold on to visualization later on.

why don't you try visualising colgate during your martial arts class?

keeping deep focus on two things is a challenge. Once you overcomes it, you might be much better at focusing.

Off topic: what martial do you do anyway?

Chloe - That cheerful girl with ponytail.

Aigis - The male cyborg that looks like raiden in MGR.

Vixen - Half dragon female who looks like Mary in DMC3 when in human form.

Cruse, first things first, I gotta say I was somewhat expecting (and slightly hoping) you would pop up here. I see you literally all the time on other threads. Anyways, I take a mix of Kenpo and Brazilian Jui-Jitsu. And thanks Tulpacouple. I've only skimmed it so far, but it looks like it might help A LOT.
