TAD Art Collage Thingie!

Hello! 😁 I wanted to begin our brand new collaborative project for Tulpa Appreciation Day (TAD), which is two months away from now on July 7! 😁 In previous years we have done an art Secret Santa, and last year we attempted a more structured scene. But I thought it would be a lot more fun and easy if we just did a really informal little collage where everyone adds something, anything, to make something nice that we can share on TAD! 😁

 

I will be uploading a 2000x2000 image that is basically just a white background with "Happy Tulpa Appreciation Day 2025" written on it. These are the steps to participate:

 

1. Download the most recent version of the image from this thread.
2. Add whatever you like.
3. Save the uploaded image as a PNG file.
4. Upload the image to this thread for the next person to add to!

 

And that's it! 😊 Really simple, right? Here are some thoughts to keep in mind:

 

1. You can add whatever you want. It can be a drawing, a message, simply signing your name, anything, as long as it is your own work.
2. Be conscientious about the amount of space your contribution is taking up; we want to leave room for everyone to add something.
3. There is no need to claim "next" or anything. Just add your contribution whenever you want.
4. Please nothing insulting/derogatory.
5. Do not write/draw over or alter anyone else's contribution. If space becomes an issue, we might have to scoot certain things over to make room, but we'll see.
6. Feel free to rewrite/improve the text at the top of the image, but keep it in the same general place and don't change the words themselves please.
7. If you are working on your contribution but someone else uploads an updated image before you finish, that's okay, you don't have to start over, go ahead and upload your own version too. I or someone else will reconcile the two versions so that everyone's contributions are seen!
8. You are allowed to contribute more than once, but again show common courtesy in regard to how much space you are using.
9. Do not overthink it!!!! This is just to have fun and create something nice for TAD!!!!

You guys are going way too small... Even if everyone tagged contributed something at that size it wouldn't be half full. And due to the nature of images, things can be shrunk, but they can't be expanded.

Is this a good size, @Tewi? We have never done this before and I really didn't want to take up too much space.

I think that is a good size! 😊 I didn't want to get too technical on how big people's contributions should be, but I think if they cover somewhere between 5% and 10% of the total area there will be plenty of room for everyone while giving everyone enough room to work with. 😊 (Anyone can feel free to take up a smaller amount of space if they want though, especially if they are just signing their name or adding something small)

 

BTW I think both your and @Seagull's work is very lovely! 😊 I'm sorry that I haven't added my own yet but there hasn't been all that much time lately, hopefully by next week we'll have more time!

That is a better size, yeah

We can't enlarge things once it's done, but we can shrink them if more space is needed, so it's best to supply a decently-sized image first

 

Can you re-add your image a little bigger too @Seagull? It could probably fill the top right corner the way the two small images did before
