MrCrazy December 26, 2012 December 26, 2012 I think I have a second tulpa now? (At least that's what my first told me) And I need to get rid of it, but I heard dissipating a tulpa is a horrific torture for them. So I want to know how to do that without causing this unwanted tulpa the anguish caused by normal dissipation.
Shin December 26, 2012 December 26, 2012 Why do you have to dissipate the tulpa? Why not let him/her just roam about the mindscape? I am Shinigami, a detached observer.
MrCrazy December 26, 2012 Author December 26, 2012 Why do you have to dissipate the tulpa? Why not let him/her just roam about the mindscape? It's a doppelganger of the first one (which spawned unintentionally), which I forcibly changed the appearence to differentiate it. I didn't even want one tulpa, and I downright refuse to have a second. If I let it roam around mindscape, it'll die anyway because I won't be paying it any attention.
MrCrazy December 26, 2012 Author December 26, 2012 I'm thinking maybe I could just keep it asleep/in a coma? That way it wouldn't be aware of it being deleted :/
waffles December 26, 2012 December 26, 2012 Where did you hear that dissipation was horrific torture? That's not something I've heard. If you believe that then it might be true for you, so it'd be best to change your belief about dissipation to that it is quick and painless and so on.
Guest December 26, 2012 December 26, 2012 Stop thinking about it. And stop thinking about not thinking about it. And so on.

I heard some tulpas describe how they nearly got dissapated. Basically sort of feels themself unravelling into nothingness. I couldn't wish that on any living being. But yeah. I hope you're right. :/ I'll keep it asleep and ignore it. Cheers.
Guest EnnervateIndustries December 26, 2012 December 26, 2012 I know of a couple of people who essentially put an accidental second tulpa into "stasis" by not thinking about them, but not intentionally dissipating them.
motorheadlk December 26, 2012 December 26, 2012 Grow some balls and stop thinking that this tulpa is a coward. It either doesn't have a consciousness yet or it does and doesn't care about dying. Either way, it won't be cruel or harmful to dissipate it, simply because it will only cause any harm if you think that it will cause any harm. It will only come back if you think it can come back. It is your brain that is in control of the situation, what you believe that will happen will happen. I'm brazilian and my english is not really good, I'll do every mistake you imagine, but I'll try to avoid them. Tulpa: Kuruminha Age: Began on the middle of october. Form: My avatar. Enoch327 December 27, 2012 December 27, 2012 My first chief of staff, a tulpa named Pendragon, actually resigned. He set a date he wanted to dissolve by and I extended it by two months (I wanted him to advise my new chief of staff). Methinks he actually became a part of my new chief of staff. A lot depends on how the tulpa was formed in the first place. If he came from you he could be reabsorbed by you. In this case maybe he could be reabsorbed into the first tulpa. I tend to view tulpas as something akin to water. I drew a bucket of water from the lake and when I was finished I poured it back in. I don't recall that the bucket of water cried. At any rate, I don't think you are on deadline. Take your time and decide what you want to do and then do it. Enoch, Chancellor of Mars. "Follow your bliss."-Joseph Campbell
