BrassAndBeauty June 4, 2012 June 4, 2012 Could someone explain to me the difference? I used to think it was pretty clear cut (sentient being or mindless imaginary doll), but Glitch's recent... happenings have led me to question that. Can a servitor be sentient? How does one create one? How does one build upon a previously made servitor? Can a servitor spontaneously become a tulpa? Is Glitch really as full of shit as he sounds (sorry)? No one seems to discuss them. Sorry if this should be in off-topic since its not strictly related to tulpae. DID YA MISS ME? Blog Here: http://brassandbeauty.tumblr.com/
G|d30n June 4, 2012 June 4, 2012 Most of us understand servitors to be non-sentient, but I suppose giving a servitor lots of attention could cause it to become a tulpa even if you didn't do any personality work (sort of like Irish's method I guess). As for servitors going rogue and going to war, well, an imagination can be a fun thing. Progess on my tulpa, Lauren. Lauren's survey and stylometric test.
Pronas June 4, 2012 June 4, 2012 Glitch has real mental problems. though he is not a roleplayer or faking it, you should not use him too much as reference.
BrassAndBeauty June 4, 2012 Author June 4, 2012 Enigma: A servitor I whipped up to assume responsibility for the stuff Luna used to be in charge of, so that she didn’t feel obligated to help me with my problems or anything. Has no form, but is a disembodied, female-sounding computerized voice that manifests itself as an augmented reality overlay on top of my vision. Keeps track of my schedule, contains my thesaurus and knowledge base, and performs several other servitor-based functions. Can also do a lot of other stuff, like tracking my body temperature, forecasting the weather for the next 24 hours, etc. That sounds super fucking awesome. DID YA MISS ME? G|d30n June 4, 2012 June 4, 2012 That sounds super fucking awesome. It also assumes his subconscious can forecast the weather for the next 24 hours... Progess on my tulpa, Lauren. Lauren's survey and stylometric test.
BrassAndBeauty June 4, 2012 Author June 4, 2012 I was really hoping he meant that he would check the weather and his mind would just remember it. DID YA MISS ME? Blog Here: http://brassandbeauty.tumblr.com/
Charlotte June 4, 2012 June 4, 2012 That doesn't sound impossible that the subconcious could predict the weather up to 24 hours. Even animals have a good idea on how the weather will change. The earth can leave pretty subtle clues on how the weather changes usually. This hot empty painting should be locked and towed.
G|d30n June 4, 2012 June 4, 2012 The ability of animals to predict the weather is more or less limited to "A storm is coming...the weather is changing...the season is changing." "Today it's 84 with a low of 78 and a high of 94, fair weather with a chance of rain tomorrow" is a bit silly. Progess on my tulpa, Lauren. Lauren's survey and stylometric test.
