NekoiNemo March 28, 2013 March 28, 2013 First of all - we read both "deaf host" and "talk in less time" guides and trying to use them right now. When i said "communication problem" i didn't mean that i can't communicate with Yami. It's just... All i can manage to get is some kind of emotional response. Or something like a raw messed up thoughts. For the past two months i somehow started to understand them. Well, not really understand, it's more like my brain begun to interpret them. But there is the thing - it can only interpret it using words that currently on my mind. So, for example, if i ask her "do you like this video game?" i obviously think about words like "like", "hate", "much" and so on. And i get a very clear respond like "Yeah, i like it!" or "Meh, don't really like it". But whenever i ask her about something more abstract like "what would you like to do?" what can have too many different answers... I get something like this: http://i.imgur.com/VP6jEOS.jpg I just can't grasp some of the words. "I want to ***, right now!". Of course, asking her about this is pointless because i just get more of this 'mute' thoughts. Did someone encounter same problem? How do you manage to overcome it? We would really appreciate both tulpa's and human's opinions on this. So we both hope someone can give us some hints or directions on how to solve it... 現実に抗え!
waffles March 28, 2013 March 28, 2013 A lot of people get that, I think. I certainly did. The only real long-term solution is time. Spend time with your tulpa, have lots of conversations, force a lot, and so on. Try especially talking a lot - have debates, discussions, what have you. Over time, like you've already seen, communication becomes easier. Of course, you could try things that increase the strength of your tulpa's voice. Try auditory hallucinations if you want, but there are exercises in the guide section of this forum that would help you on the mindvoice front. As a work-around, it should be obvious to you to suggest answers, or otherwise ask simple questions: "What do you want to do? This or this or...".
Sands March 28, 2013 March 28, 2013 I never really went through a phase where Roswell couldn't tell me the answer to something I didn't know if he knew, but that might be because I rarely asked any super open questions early on. I gave him options and if none of those would fit, I'd already be giving more options and never really asked "well, what do you suggest then?". So if that's it, then I can say it at least worked. Maybe. By the time I actually asked Roswell open questions, he could answer them, so I guess I can also say time also helps a lot and will probably fix most of this kinds of problems. Just chill and let it come. Keep your mind like, open and shit. Woah. The THE SUBCONCIOUS ochinchin occultists frt.sys (except Roswell because he doesn't want to be a part of it)
Guest bourbonowns March 28, 2013 March 28, 2013 I'm glad other people have struggled with this. It's fascinating that though all our minds vary, they are also the same. My tulpa still has problems with this occasionally, not as much as before. I think you hit the nail on the head with the vocabulary thing in particular. My tulpa has no problems using words I have thrown about in a conversation, or words we use often, but I get that blurred mute word effect when she's struggling with a term she hasn't used often. She just glosses it over with emotion like you said. Just be patient and keep talking to her,and be encouraging when she messes up a word. Tulpa start out communicating with raw thought and they need to learn to speak english. Your brain started out the same way, communicating with images and emotion, but language attached labels to everything. Your tulpa can send the thought to you, but they might not know what to call it.
cruse March 29, 2013 March 29, 2013 Your tulpa is developed and is vocal. You just need to start training your listening skills now. How? Just keep forcing her. Chloe - That cheerful girl with ponytail. Aigis - The male cyborg that looks like raiden in MGR. Vixen - Half dragon female who looks like Mary in DMC3 when in human form.
