averyharlin April 11, 2013 April 11, 2013 I'm writing a persuasive research paper on why someone should create a tulpa. I was just wondering if there is anything I should make sure I should cover in it? Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

glitchthe3rd April 11, 2013 April 11, 2013 No, don't start there. It paints us in a bad light. >_> I would suggest briefly outlining what a tulpa is and how they are made, and then moving on to discussion of the benefits of having a tulpa and practical applications for treatment of mental disorders. historical April 11, 2013 April 11, 2013 A thing glitch pointed out is treatment of mental disorders. Tulpas can certainly help with anxiety and such, as they have all the benefits of an imaginary friend - which also can be used to treat that. Tulpas can also be the voice of your subconscious, which can be useful for learning about yourself from a spiritual or psychological point of view. But I still don't think the mainstream world is ready, or ever will be ready for that matter, to adopt the idea that imaginary creations are 'okay' or acceptable. No offense, but if I didn't have the teenage open mind I have been cursed with I would have thought this whole community was trippin' balls. People aren't going to like tulpas, at least not when pressured by the invisible hand of societal relations. --- If you do end up writing this paper, please keep it harbored around the psychological approach and tailor it around the mind and personalities. It probably would be more acceptable than a paper about energy channeling. Just my 4 cents. fourfiction, the idiot.
