Guest June 10, 2012 June 10, 2012 It is said in some of the guides, and Bluesleeve's messages indicate, that you're supposed to input emotions into your tulpa. But how exactly do you do that? How do you send emotions? I can't even conceive an emotion at will, let alone somehow send it to the tulpa. I can have external stimuli and events evoke various emotions, and then call my tulpa and say something like, "Hey, can you feel that too?" But I really doubt that's what the guides mean. Since no one ever asks this question, I'm starting to feel I am the only person who lacks this ability. I hope it's not very important.
Lyranon June 10, 2012 June 10, 2012 Make little notes in your mind, orbs containing what those emotions you want to send to your tulpa mean to you, anything symbolic like that. Basically you just do what feels more comfortable to you.
ThatOneGuy June 10, 2012 June 10, 2012 Make a visualization that represents to you the type of emotion you want being put into the tulpa. Like Lyranon said, colored orbs (the colors corresponding with emotions) usually work pretty well for people. Orange juice helps with concentration headaches.
Guest June 10, 2012 June 10, 2012 Or just say it ("You're gay." for a "gay" emotion), without the symbolic crap.
Bluesleeve June 10, 2012 June 10, 2012 You can either do it through visualization, but that is not what I'm usually referring to. We humans don't feel with our head, but with our stomach. (e.g. "gut instincts") The solar plexus is often being related to spiritual stuff like chakras. We let these explanations aside and focus on what we are able to do with it. It's very difficult to describe, but I'll give you an example. Think of something negative or hateful. The more you think of it and let yourself overwhelm with it, you will notice that there is something building up in your stomach. This is the method I basically use, just in a positive way. You can imagine a feeling for every trait, build it up in your stomach and let it flow to your brain or through your arms. (whilst holding your Tulpa maybe, but all this depends on your fantasy) Feelings are different for everyone, of course. If I had to describe extroversion I'd say it has a soft texture, some kind of saturated and bright color (possibly magenta), a light bubbling coming to the surface, and is quite warm. Intelligence on the other hand, would have a smooth surface, a bright, cold color (blue maybe?) and is colder than extroversion. I don't see all this, it's just a metaphor to what I feel in my stomach when I build up these traits, although you can make them visible in your wonderland. What is a Tulpa? ThatOneGuy June 10, 2012 June 10, 2012 I was just trying to give the guy something that's usually easier to achieve, Bluesleeve. The 'gut feeling' you're talking about is perfectly legitimate as well, and I recommend that the anon here check that out too if they feel they may be more comfortable with it. Orange juice helps with concentration headaches.
Bluesleeve June 10, 2012 June 10, 2012 I was just trying to give the guy something that's usually easier to achieve, Bluesleeve. I never intended to decline your method, I was just describing how I do it because anon mentioned me in his post. What is a Tulpa? Blog Rainbow 'Alyx' Dash Pronto
ThatOneGuy June 10, 2012 June 10, 2012 Why am I so terrible at communication ;_; Yeah I didn't mean for it to look like that. I just wanted to mention. Orange juice helps with concentration headaches.

Sheep LI June 10, 2012 June 10, 2012 This is interesting. Visual representations for emotions. I haven't keyed any emotions for my tulpa yet as I'm waiting on sentience. Maybe if I tried doing this and involving emotion I'd receive feedback from my tulpa instead of complete deadened silence during narration and every other tulpaforcing session. I want to make a tulpa. That's why I'm here. Tulpa Name: Shai, ✓Personality, ✓Visualization, ✓Touch, ✓Smell, Body Language and Sentience ❑
