So a friend of mine was wondering if it was possible for a tulpa to "kill itself", or to leave its creator on its own free will. Another friend of mine was discussing about a creator driving its tulpa insane, and we were curious if this was possible.

Tulpa have it's own freewill, so anything is possible.

Driving your tulpa insane is also possible. And I'll punch the person who does that in the face.

Chloe - That cheerful girl with ponytail.

Aigis - The male cyborg that looks like raiden in MGR.

Vixen - Half dragon female who looks like Mary in DMC3 when in human form.

First off, I'm gonna slap you for calling a tulpa an "it", simply because it's an excuse to do so.

*slap*

Second off, a tulpa can kill themselves... or at least symbolize death. To my knowledge, a tulpa can only kill themselves through attention deprivation (on both sides, meaning the host totally disreguards the tulpa, and the tulpa disreguards themselves). In other words, a tulpa can only kill themselves if they want it, and the host wants it.

And if you want that, I'd gladly like to join cruise in the punch party.

Same thing for the insanity driving. It is possible, and punch worthy.

As for leaving the host, they can do that too. Of course they can't leave the confines of your brain, so they'll always be "close" but whether or not they decide to speak to you is completely up to them.

And if you don't put in the effort to convince them to come back, well... again, I'd suggest buying a mouth guard.

Can you kill yourself? Not your body, but your consciousness.

I believe the answer is yes, and therefore, so can a tulpa kill itself.

And yes, of course they can "leave" you, of their own free will.

"If this can be avoided, it should. If it can't, then it would be better if it could be. If it happened and you're thinking back to it, try and think back further. Try not to avoid it with your mind. If any of this is possible, it may be helpful. If not, it won't be."

Yes, although it is possible for the host to revive a "dead" tulpa.

or to leave its creator on its own free will.

Also possible, though the tulpa will continue living in a wonderland in the host's head, of course. A tulpa can't physically leave the host; they can just retreat into the wonderland and choose not to see or speak to the host.

Yes, but that would obviously be a cruel way to treat a tulpa. I also wouldn't be surprised if that would have negative repercussions for the host.

That last answer was simply speculation based on what I know, but I answered the first two through experience.

Deluded myself into believing my imaginary friends were real, then deluded myself into thinking they weren’t. Whatever the case, the OG gang’s still here:

Host: fennec (they/them)

Tulpas: Alex (he/him) and Kayleigh (she/her)

Thanks guys. Moon Shooter, I was only saying 'it' because I was referring to tulpas of any gender. Not just boy tulpas or not just girl tulpas. Thanks guys, and don't worry, none of these things are happening to MY tulpa. We were just being curious during our free period.

I'd recommend not posting in black text like that, if possible. It doesn't look good on our gray background.

Yeah sorry, this was my first time ever posting on here so I had (and still don't have) any idea what I'm doing XD
