Chupi May 21, 2013 May 21, 2013 Losing thoughts or memories of them like that seems to happen when meditating or hypnotized. So what you describe is normal. Happens to me too. I also sometimes lose a thought as I'm thinking it when talking to them when not forcing, though I think some of this is them "grabbing" the thought. I think random thoughts count as attention, but they work better the more defined they are, and if the tulpa is listening. NekoiNemo May 21, 2013 May 21, 2013 I think that if you want to do passive forcing you may want to ask her to follow you throughout a day. When, obviously, you can just direct thought to her and talk. Other side of a coin - she may get bored if you will not pay her enough attention. 現実に抗え!
Lacquer May 21, 2013 May 21, 2013 Do random thoughts directed towards your brain-buddy count as giving them attention, or do you have to make sure they're paying attention when you start thinking about them? Yes. Keywords: directed towards your brain-buddy As long as you understand that the message is going to them, they will get it.

I believe it's personally giving them attention, especially if I go through getting Eva to become more vocal, I imagine her using her voice at any given image presented to me. Most of the time, the images, scenes, and random dream-like video clips relate to sexual things (since that's the easiest, for me at least)...and then it becomes less perverted and more random (anime, art, lucid dreaming, people I met, my emotions, etc). And I've had several session myself where I would forget what the heck happened as well. I wake up 5 minutes later, and I felt like I took a brick to my head or something. I guess if you want to have less chances of forgetting the sessions towards focusing on your tulpae, maybe have a notepad handy that's a few feet away from you, or a computer/laptop/iPhone/etc. so you could jot some notes down. When you jot things down, no matter how random they may be, you'll get better at retaining what you experienced during your sessions. Keep a small log or some way to record the experiences of yourself, and things will get better for you and your tulpae.
