cartowheel September 13, 2013 September 13, 2013 Hello~ I'm very, very new to tulpas - still reading up on them before I decide anything - and have a question for anyone, or any multiple systems with experiences with tulpas. I am a natural median system, consisting of three personalities. I was curious about if someone that is a system might have an easier time creating tulpas, since they already have multiple people in their minds. Of course, this is mainly out of curiosity. ^_^ System Name: The Z Squad Original: Zoe, The Organizer Gender: Femme Genderqueer, they/them Headmate: Zach, The Protector Gender: Male, he/him Headmate: Zero, The Confidence Gender: Agender, they/them, he/him Tulpa: Chael Gender: Male, he/him Form: Fallen angel with rabbit features and horns Tulpa: Celeste Gender: Female, she/her, they/them Form: Android
Kiahdaj September 13, 2013 September 13, 2013 Would you care to try to further explain your situation? "If this can be avoided, it should. If it can't, then it would be better if it could be. If it happened and you're thinking back to it, try and think back further. Try not to avoid it with your mind. If any of this is possible, it may be helpful. If not, it won't be."

cartowheel September 13, 2013 Author September 13, 2013 I'm like a multiple system, except all of my 'personalities' are branches off of my base self. Unlike natural multiples or individuals with dissociative identity disorder, I do not black out when my alters switch, instead, the alters that are not fronting kinda hang out in my head, like a tulpa would. In fact, I can hear them when they comment on things, they have their own mindsets, and I switch constantly, at least every few days. My two personalities that came later in life just kind of appeared one day. Since I already have a sense of what it's like to have a tulpa, I'd imagine some aspects might come a little more naturally, but I didn't know if anyone had any other experiences with it. Kiahdaj September 13, 2013 September 13, 2013 Sure, I suppose having a tulpa may come more naturally to you, if that's the case. And hey, depending on who you ask, a tulpa is nothing more than a split personality of yours, anyway. "If this can be avoided, it should. If it can't, then it would be better if it could be. I'm actually reading a general tulpa guide right now, and I'm beginning to suspect that my most recent alter's an unintentional tulpa, since (as I'm very anxious and timid) they act like they're everything I've ever wanted to do or be, and my mind lumped that into a whole new alter. ;w; I doubt it, though, with the amount of concentration that goes into creating one. TulpaCouple September 13, 2013 September 13, 2013 It sounds very possible. There are definitely a lot of parallels with tulpas and medians. It's quite possibly going to be easier for you to hear their first words since you are using to hearing others in your mind, and if you have a headspace you may already be skilled at visualization.
