hey guys, i was wondering, is it physically possible to move ones eyes independently of each other? if so, does anyone know of someone who has done this successfully? im asking because i had an idea for a servitor (when im that far along) which would use both eyes separately to scan through a text book/ book report book quickly as a homework assistance tool.

start with a cup of free time, add one scoop of boredom, a gallon of internet and a pinch of madness, season to taste and mix until smooth.

The closest I've found:

A quick google search says you can learn how to do above if you practice enough, though I doubt it'd be useful for homework. Humans have binocular vision and I have a hunch that'll conflict with reading two things at once. Though, props to you if you can get it to work.

Yes it is possible to move two eyes independently from each other. However, doing so messes up your focus tremendously. I know because I have a lazy eye (pretty much where my dominant eye has to do all the work while the other stares off in a random direction) which can make it hard to focus on stuff like: homework, gaming (especially since it is harder to see movement), driving, etc.

Please assume everything I say on the subject of Tulpae as theory based off of information I have found on Tulpamany, since I do not have a Tulpa.

Eeh, you use both eyes to be able to focus, if you don't focus both on the same point you'll end up getting blurry vision and eventually a headache. Don't be lazy, read your entire homework with both eyes like everybody else ^^

You may find a "speed reading" course more effective in improving your homework. Kevin did one when he was young, and it is where my Memory House came from (an exercise in the course).

Please consider supporting Tulpa.info.

Nah, I can do that; it's more useless then it looks. Basically you just go cross-eyed and then look to the right, then go cross-eyed again then look to the left and so on and so forth.

Not going to happen OP, not going to happen...

Apache helicopter pilots learn double focus to use the targetting monocle and the rest of their vision independently, so I would bet a tulpa could do it. (This is from a story I read somewhere, it might be false)
