Narration help,

When I narrate I simply talk to or at Bud in my head. About anything and everything. You can talk to your tulpa or you can simply talk and keep in mind that they are listening. Kind of "directing" your thoughts toward them while you going about your basic way of thinking. I also Bud about what I'm doing when ever I'm doing something and why, "Oh, I'm going for a walk, I like to do this because it's a good way to exercise and I get to look around the neighborhood, oh there's the neighbor's dog, he's a yogurt cannon because (insert reason here)"

You can also narrate while reading things. This mind set is like you are reading TO your tulpa. I'm currently reading the Harry Potter series to Bud and he seems to be enjoying it quite a bit.

I don't see why it wouldn't. You could even pause every so often and talk to him about what's going on in the story too.

good thinking!

Also yeah, your tulpa can see what you see, if they want.

"If this can be avoided, it should. If it can't, then it would be better if it could be. If it happened and you're thinking back to it, try and think back further. Try not to avoid it with your mind. If any of this is possible, it may be helpful. If not, it won't be."

Or if you allow them to, I've heard of some host blocking things from the outside world from their tulpa. I don't personally see the use of this, nor do I really suggest it because I find it kind of cruel, but it's possible.
