Forgive me for asking so many questions, but I could't find a thread for this.

If I'm letting my Tulpa sit somewhere or walk somewhere and there's something in his path that keeps him from sitting down or moving forward, do I have to move the object before he can sit down, or does he walk around something?

For example, if I'm sitting on my bed and there's like my books or a laptop in the space he can lie down, do I have to move it before he can move into that space?

What about if you invite him along for a car ride and there's no room for him to sit anywhere because the backseat is full of junk? Does he go into his wonderland or just like sit on the roof or something? That's probably really stupid of me to consider, but yeah, just wondering, cause I don't want anything to deter my visualization or imposition practice.

Tulpas are completely unaffected by physical objects, which means they can sit wherever they please. However, it is to my experience that tulpas like to make sense, meaning they would prefer to sit somewhere where there isn't anything in their way. The same may be said about walking obstruction--that they would prefer to move around, rather than walk through.

The car question has actually been discussed a lot. Some people's tulpas have wings or something, and they fly alongside the car. If your tulpa has no such attributes, and there is no room left in the car (and they don't want to sit in someone's lap) then they just wouldn't "impose" themselves. Meaning, they would likely either reside in wonderland until such time that they can follow you again, or they would resume experiencing the physical world from your perspective.

"If this can be avoided, it should. If it can't, then it would be better if it could be. If it happened and you're thinking back to it, try and think back further. Try not to avoid it with your mind. If any of this is possible, it may be helpful. If not, it won't be."

In short answer, no. Even once you start seeing your tulpa as a fully imposed being in your reality, the fact remains they are still a part of your mind. Things in the real world will only interfere with him or get in his way if you believe that it will. You want him to lie down with you but the lap top is in the way and you're too lazy to move it at the time? So what? Imagine the laptop isn't there and your tulpa is instead.

Back seat of the car is full of things? Impose him sitting there anyway. With practice you can learn to see past reality and impose what you would like on your vision.

Nice! Thanks! That helps!
