Why do you think demons are evil...they are VERY superior than humans so it doesn't make sense that they would just possess someone without any ritual,invocation or evocation and if you think it was due to some grudge then that won't be right also as if after centuries of being misunderstood as evil they were that open about revenge then there would be reqular cases like that. What I think is that you are mistaken if the person was possessed at all maybe it was due to the stressful situation. Like! (:
