Violet November 11, 2013 November 11, 2013 Hello ! A few months ago I read here a post, where someone tried to connect his wonderland to another wonderland from his friend.. My question here is: Can that really work? Can you with enough experience really change between wonderlands of people you know very good? Maybe someone found that post, I can't find it here. ._. Thank you and sorry for my bad english.. :3
Ashmo November 11, 2013 November 11, 2013 No, not unless you are talking about in a metaphysical sense, in which case it doesn't belong on this board.
Chupi November 11, 2013 November 11, 2013 This sounds related to astral travel, which belongs on the meta board. No, it's not possible from the scientific understanding of these things. Moving thread and leaving redirect for a week so people looking for it can find it. Quilten November 12, 2013 November 12, 2013 Unless both of you know exactly what your wonderlands look like to a tee, and then attach them in the sense that you have exactly the same image in mind (no pun intended), which is essentially impossible, not even counting the fact that wonderlands can change, and the mind's images be warped easily. Scientifically, I have no doubt that it is impossible, metaphysically, either, but that's just my two cents. Enoch327 November 13, 2013 November 13, 2013 There is literature to suggest that two people have shared and recalled the same dream. In theory, I think it is possible. In practice it might be difficult, especially if you are just doing it for fun or experimentation. If there was some serious emotion behind it, like love, then I think your chances of success would increase. But as always, your mileage may vary. Enoch, Chancellor of Mars. GrillNinja November 20, 2013 November 20, 2013 If someone isn't down with metashenanigans, this might sound loopy... but I digress. I read something somewhere... maybe even in these forums, that some have claimed to see and interact another person's wonderland. I remember they claimed to do it by creating a space in their wonder land where a symbol of their own making was clear and present, and gave an image of it to the person trying to visit. The person would then imagine/ meditate (or whatever) on the symbol and report what they saw to the first person. Whether or not this is true, if something like this was to be attempted, that would be a really good idea to start with. Create a symbolic address to connect with. The perfect "solid" thing to focus on to start. If this is ever attempted, the person hosting should not tell the guest anything about what's there other than the object the symbol is on (if that even!). I would also suggest putting in details and see what the guest notices - if any. I bet having a connection with the person in the first place might make it easier, or using more established parts of one's wonderland as a place to host company. It could possibly be a solid experiment. I should also suggest, as an afterthought, that I suspect that we interpret imaginary things on our own terms. Meaning if I were to host, I could create a character to greet the guest and make it look like - say - a fire eyed pumpkin guy to offer a cookie, but a guest might see it as a shiny eyed catman with a too big head who had a hockey puck. I think our minds define things in terms of our own bent and that might be a complication to look for with this process. Or maybe I think this entire above statement could complicate the process by it's own existence so you might want to just nevermind it ;D Imaginary things I think work like that too. So if you are curious and have a willing participant, create a symbol, and throw down and find out if it works. If you document it to us, you might want to have a third witness to verify the claim. If you wrote what you want the guest to see to someone neutral to the cause (who would not tamper with the evidence), and then the guest would write what they saw after the experience to the same third party. The third party then verifies the two descriptions and publishes them in the forums. This stuff should be written and sent before the guest and the host communicate with each other about the experiment. This might be able to create evidence to support this process. By the way, I apologize Violet, I didn't realize English was a second language for you, and I get creative with words. I don't know if all I've said will make sense... like metashenanigans. Which is metaphysics occult stuff + shenanigans. Let me know if you follow. ~Wielder of the Sacred Spatula~
