I've been pretty occupied these last few days and I've neglected my tulpa. I think it's been almost three or four days since I've had a tulpaforcing or even narration session and I can't really feel the presence of my tulpa like I used to be able to.

I want to just start tulpaforcing again and go back to where we left off, but I feel really guilty and worried. My tulpa isn't vocal yet, but I'm worried that I may have killed her by not giving her any attention and then I'll try to tulpaforce, not feel her presence, and realize that I actually did kill her.

Is this possible? How long can a tulpa live without attention before they just fade away?

Go to FAQ on front page and look for the question and click "I've missed X times of tulpaforcing, what do I do?"

I have 10 tulpas, but I'm only actively working on Reah, my first tulpa currently.

Progress Report

A memory of your tulpa still exists, but yeah, you have to tupperforce on a regular basis to feel the tulpa on a regular basis. It's all about the "you get what you give" thing.

Just quietly return to forcing and move right along.

Are memories forgotten if you don't think about them?

Sometimes, but I don't think taking a few days break will destroy a tulpa, but it may make the tulpa tired, if the tulpa is sentient.

Just chill and keep on forcing. They should be fine at this point.

Orange juice helps with concentration headaches.

After all she's a creation of your mind. If you convince yourself that she's gonna disappear, she's gonna disappear.

This. When concerns like this pop up, remind yourself that this process is psychological, not magical. It's not like there's this ancient, super-defined ritual that you have to get just right or risk screwing up. Expectations can really influence reality in this, for better or worse, so try not to let yourself become convinced that you've killed your tulpa or stunted their growth or set their development back or anything like that. If you just get back to forcing regularly, once you fall back into your rhythm, you'll feel your tulpa just a strong as before and find that everything is okay. That last sentence could be fact or self-help pseudo-psych suggestion--take it as both, and it'll work.
