Guest amber5885 February 3, 2015 February 3, 2015 So I made this picture of Toby and we're both pretty happy about it :) I just thought I would share so you can see what I see.
Guest amber5885 February 3, 2015 February 3, 2015 You know the more I look at it the more I'm actually really impressed with this picture. I used morph thing and I combined about 10 different models to make this picture and i threw it in an editor and applied some filters and effects and it's pretty spot on. Actually I may have just as well taken a picture of Toby and posted it. I'm impressed.....very impressed.
sushi February 3, 2015 February 3, 2015 That's really cool. Very well done. I thought for sure it was a photograph until I read what you said about it. And it's neat to finally see someone I've heard so much about. "Some things have to be believed to be seen." - Ralph Hodgson
Guest amber5885 February 3, 2015 February 3, 2015 Thanks sushi, I felt the same way when you posted that picture of your tulpa. She's so pretty :) That picture up there took me about em3 hours to make and I'm still blown away by it.
sushi February 4, 2015 February 4, 2015 Thanks. You know, I told her that once, and she said she looks the way she was created to look, and I should save complements like that for my girlfriend. She's so practical. I suppose that's another deviation, but not an unwelcome one. But yeah, that is a really cool picture of Toby. Your filters and effects really make a difference. Have you thought about doing anything more with it? I mean if I lived alone, I might like to make a painting or something of Fenchurch and me together, but as it is, my art will have to remain digital. Would you want to do anything like that? Linkzelda February 4, 2015 February 4, 2015 I have a feeling I'll be using your guide in the Tulpa Art section (I think) to get a form for Ada, sushi. It seems that unlike Eva, who managed to have a form during an image streaming session I had weeks ago, it's hard figuring out something for Ada for some reason other than the base form we've been using since her creation. Maybe I should fixate more on forcing her more often than Eva, and trust my intuition that there's going to be some kind of temporary form she can be content with. I might end up making a 3d model of Eva someday in the future now that her form is easy to map out in several forms and angles; just to go along the lines of the question you gave amber with drawing our tulpas and what have you. -- Glad to see you have a form you're happy with, amber. Guest amber5885 February 4, 2015 February 4, 2015 It looked pretty fake until I put it through the filters do I'm really glad I did that, I managed to give it a realistic look. My artistic skills aren't the best but I kind of want to print that picture and frame it. I might try to throw one of my through the same filter do if I put them in a dual frame together it will look like just an artsy collage of us. If I could paint, I would go the route of the two of us together.
sushi February 4, 2015 February 4, 2015 It's neat to see that old guide getting some use. If you do make that 3d model, Linkzelda, I'd be interested in seeing it. I've thought about doing that myself, but I have no skill whatsoever at it. Amber, if you want to cheat, you can print paintings. If I could, I think I'd go that way. I do want to learn to draw, because I've heard that it helps with visualization, but I have no interest in spending a fortune in painting supplies, and mixing a bunch of colors that look like mud. :) A framed collage is a pretty cool way to go too though. Though I imagine it could be a little difficult to explain to house guests. Maybe not. If my girlfriend hadn't met my family, I'd probably tell her Fenchurch was my sister or something. Guest amber5885 February 4, 2015 February 4, 2015 I could always tell them I have an Internet boyfriend. That would be believable in my case lol
