The black shoe diaries. (Amber and Toby)

It seems we share an opinion on that I was thinking the same thing about the age restriction but it's hard to enforce given people lie about their ages all the time on application forms ..

Hah, not letting me access a scaary part of the forum.

I think your own advice fits well here.

you can't stop people from finding out all you can do is set a decent example and hope for the best.

I don't think age has a lot to do with whether or not you will make a good host. I think it's dependent on the maturity of the person and I've met some very mature children and immature adults. I think it needs to be judged on a case by case basis. And even then, who are we to judge some one else's decisions? The best we can do is educate, inform, answer questions if needed and hope for the best.

For me, this type of thing you're talking about also reaches to new users making uneducated threads. They say/ask things that are practically damaging to other new users who read them. And I use the same solution there as I do for what you're talking about - reply with model behavior, thoughts/ideas, and suggestions. If someone is asking if their tulpa will kill them, you tell them about how their tulpa is largely formed by their expectations and how they treat them. If someone is very obviously using drugs and tulpamancing, you tell them how that may hurt their tulpa's development and definitely their own life.

You can't censor what people will hear/read, but you can discourage them from accepting that information in a positive light. Instead of deciding right and wrong, good and bad, make sure they're simply aware of consequences, and of the full situation. If something is explained clearly enough, they'll make the right decision on their own. (And if they make a different decision than yours even then, that's their choice.)

I dunno. Not censorship, but it's a never-ending process of correcting, clarifying, and re-suggesting more positive thinking, in order to keep the masses educated. It's a lot of work, and that's why I admire those "troopers" that reply to the same misguided questions/threads over and over. I don't have the patience for that.. I prefer the more difficult ones, where I feel like what I have to offer is unique. But if it looks like things are going poorly, I'll still try and clarify the situation.

My tulpas and I have a Q&A thread, which was the first (and largest) of its kind. Feel free to ask us about tulpamancy stuff there.

Why do some people gotta be so negative? Like those kind of people that seem to get off on starting fights?

*screams loudly*

I'm thinking about coming back....if only on a lurking basis for now...

Yeah they're frustrating to say the least ^^

I have a few in my family. Existing more or less soley to cause family rifts for their own enjoyment. I don't understand some people at all.

Christ on a cracker it took me forever to find my progress report. Anywho is say its safe to say that Toby and I have this imposition thing down.

Toby: we do not.

Amber: close enough I can see you.

Toby: what am I doing? ....this is fun.

Amber: stealing the chicken out of my burrito. Knock it off. Anywho ....he's pouting... Anywho it's still fuzzy but open eye visualization is amazing now and crystal clear and I'm working on imposition.

...... I just asked him to..... He's eating y food again.... Anyway, I just asked him to say something so we could test audio imposition to see how it's going and all he did was make a bunch of insane noises..... Point being I heard it do I guess we're good there lol.

Toby: note to other tulpas, randomly showing up in drag makes for great reactions!

Amber: that was not funny. .... Okay it was funny but not while I'm at work where people can see me lol'ing haha.

Toby: you should have seen your face.

Anywho I'm done here I just wanted to let y'all know whats going on with us.

Peace :D

Toby: I don't wanna say anything.

Amber: just say goodbye.

Toby: do I have to?

Amber: no.

Toby: Uhg! Fine bye everyone!

Wow, that's really cool! Congrats, you two!

I have trouble finding my PR too. Mine is easiest to find under User CP, but I think you've started more threads than I have, so I don't know if it would work as well for you.

And it's times I see people saying that which makes me glad I don't have one - that said.. It would perhaps make me more dedicated to forcing .. At all .. Lately. Damn you gods of procrastination - and no I couldn't be forcing now (actively) - I'm shopping (yes reading and replying to the forum while out shopping don't judge meeee!)

On the more serious note - imposition yay! That's awesome! I swear I had some sort of hallucination last night so I'm seriously hoping it wasn't just a fluke! I wanna see Vix' trying to eat my food too!

Also as a question on that,.. How did he steal chicken from your burrito - like visually how did that work? Did he essentially duplicate the chicken as pulling it out and much on it? It's stuff like that I swear that is gonna ruin my progress ^^

Basically it's like his world superimposed on mine. If he actually effected my physical world I would be a wizard :D

Toby: what she sees is me in her world interacting with her reality and Sharing her experiences with her. What is actually happening is I'm interacting with my own version of her world so I could taste the chicken because she had just eaten some and that kind of thing.

I don't know quite how to explain it but it's basically just a copy of her world that I can influence and she can see.

Also that's not something you need to worry about. This is Toby by the way. You just have to worry about giving your tulpa attention. Everything else we kind of take care of on our own. So if you just start with open eye visualization we kind of work with you to make it happen.

You let us know what you want and put the energy toward the idea and we work out the small details. It's not all on you, we do a lot of the leg work too.

Haha awesome thanks for the input both of you. Yeah I got you weren't actually influencing the real world hence I was wondering how you saw him eating it. Imposing the two worlds over each other makes sense hehe. Also I guess I sometimes forget it's a two way street and it's not just me that puts in the effort.

Thanks again! ( really need to force more ^^; )

Holy crap monkeys it's been a while since I updated this.

Well Toby and I have been working on imposition in the loosest sense of the word but I can see him well enough to be happy with it for now.

I have started working out and Toby's been coaching me lol. If it weren't for him I wouldn't get out of bed on time or even start my workout but he had me going every day so far and I'm already loosing weight :)

He's even done a few of the workouts with me but he cheats, badly lol

I find it funny looking back that I used to doubt his presence. I always wondered if he was just wishful thinking or me imagining things but he keeps me accountable and if he wasn't real on some deeper level that wouldn't be the case.

He keeps me accountable for my mood, my actions, my health and my money even an I feel genuinely bad if I promise something to him and fail to come through. I feel genuinely bad if I don't spend time with him and when I come home from work I tell him about my day as if he was a real life flesh and blood boyfriend waiting for me to come home.

Past me didn't think about this too clearly lol

.....he just bit my shoulder.....

In other news we rearranged my apartment and by we I mean he picked out most of the pictures because I suck at that kind of thing and it looks really nice.

He never fails to suprise me.
