Guest Anonymous October 2, 2014 October 2, 2014 -snip- I know exactly what you're talking about. Yeah, fuck that thing. The SCP site? Do you know of any good ones to read? Scariest game I've ever played was 5 Nights at Freddies, I know that's cliche but it's the first horror game I dared to play in complete darkness. Another great topic is costumes. I personally have the best idea ever fathomed by man, I'm ordering a banana suit, a horse mask, and a chainsaw. Whatever party I go to better be ready for me. Five Nights at Freddy's is great. The story is surprisingly deep, formed through little snippets of newspaper you see on occasion. Honestly, I love the character design. Children's animatronics. Doesn't get much creepier than that. Costumes? Eeh, it's been a while since I've been to a Halloween party. Want to say I had a scream mask and cloak on. Probably still have it somewhere. I'm so glad this thread exists. Anyway, I'm really glad you brought up LSD: Dream Emulator because holy shit, that game. Back when I was on my crap meds it was like jump scares on crack, especially since I have kenophobia which makes me super nervous while playing it. Thankfully, the new meds I got made it so that it wasn't AS scary, but still made me jump whenever something like the Grey Man appeared. I have a world record in speed running that game, as well, ironically. The giant baby in the green corridors. Eugh. Can't stand that place. Did you actually beat it? Go for an entire year? The farthest I ever got was around ~90 days or so, getting the sexual skin on several areas. I'm not looking forward to Halloween. I will have kids knocking on my door - and children give me serious anxiety. You better not be that one house that doesn't give out candy.
Brassow October 2, 2014 October 2, 2014 I plan on doing only horror games during octotober for my channel. Anyone got a scary indie game or two (Or many) that would be fun? "Try to get a better understanding of things before making your judgement." -Khan, Metro 2033

Quilten October 3, 2014 October 3, 2014 Yeah, I don't have my PBs with me, but I got a whole year run a few times. Mostly I went for 100 day or 50-day runs. Basically it just involves getting to a place where you can fall as quickly as possible. Falling automatically ends the dream, so Pit and Temple is ideal, but Natural World works too. The thing that scared me the most was the grey dog and the Grey Man. The giant baby wasn't too fun either, but I grew to get used to it. Wacky game. DKfury October 3, 2014 October 3, 2014 Halloween isn't exactly celebrated where I am, country town in Australia and all, so myself and a mate of mine decided to dress up as the grim reaper and Jason, cops were called on us twice and we only got a handful of chocolate each after 4 hours of wandering around, scared the crap out of my mate's sister though it was a good laugh
Quilten October 3, 2014 October 3, 2014 Finally changed my avatar, Quilten and I are laughing way too hard right now. Even though my username is that of my tulpa, Quilten, my name is Phaneron, the host, who does all of the actual posting. Tulpas: Quilten, Jira
