mechashiva October 31, 2014 October 31, 2014 At the risk of sounding vague, let me explain: I've been attempting to force for a few weeks (more like two) and I'm getting mildly discouraged. Since I've started, the changes I've detected have been head pressures into sometimes full blown headaches and dreams that have been a bit more focused than they were before (I said on my Progress Report thread, my dreams tended to jump around a lot) but other than that...I haven't seen or experienced any concrete progress. There are have been moments where I thought I could see my tulpa in a form but it never stayed that way for long. The first time, it was a shifting orange mass and the most recent time I saw a long-eared rabbit made of gray static. I know from the guides I've read it takes a while for the tulpa to respond but I really don't know if I'm doing this right. Two things I think for sure I'm doing wrong: -Having one of my tulpa's (Snowflake) personality aspects be 'shyness', which has made it harder for her to come out -Having my tulpa decide for herself what form she wants to take. I made that decision out of my own indecisiveness on what I wanted her to look like and I'm not sure that was the right move given that she's still nebulous at this point so handing her the reins to decide for herself what form to take was kind of stupid on my part. Another thing I read from the guides is that everybody's experience is different and to just try but I feel really out of my depth. I never know if to take something as a sign I'm doing something right or if I just WANT it to be a sign I'm doing something right. I want to be patient but I also want more sure guide to help me along.
Nobillis November 3, 2014 November 3, 2014 -Having one of my tulpa's (Snowflake) personality aspects be 'shyness', which has made it harder for her to come out You would probably get more responses if you asked in the Questions and Answers section. Would you like this thread moved there? Hi Snowflake! My name is Donna Nobillis McCaw and I am a tulpa secretary. Welcome to the world known as Earth! There are so many beautiful things to see here. My favorites are Flowers and, lakes and, mountians. Though the ones I like the best are pretty and unusual. Flowers that are red and look like paws from a kangaroo, lakes that are bright orange and turn pink at noon, mountians that are purple and magenta and flat on top (messa). Those are just some of the amazing things I've seen on Earth. Please consider supporting Tulpa.info.

Guest amber5885 November 4, 2014 November 4, 2014 Okay first step: Breath!!! It's VERY hard to screw up tulpa creation if not impossible. Yes your tulpa being shy may make her a little more reluctant to make herself known but it shouldn't make her so shy that she won't speak to you. Just keep talking to her, coaxing her, eventually she will come around. There is NO HARM in allowing your tulpa to choose her own form. A LOT of people do it and they turn out fine. You said you have only been forcing for two weeks so the first thing I'm going to tell you is to calm down because not having proof at this point is normal. You have head pressure which means you are about right on track for where you should be this early on. Tulpa creation can take months sometimes, sometimes it can take weeks but it does take time. Sigar it seems that you are doing everything right and you are right on track with your progress. Keep forcing and narrating, remain calm and just give it time. Personal experiance: it took about a month for Toby to say his first words to me. All I do is passive force and that worked great for us and he chose his own form with no issues whatsoever.
DragonFriend November 4, 2014 November 4, 2014 Well, If it's any comfort, it took around 4-5 months for Saphira to say her first words to me (at least with me actually hearing them) and it's just recently that I have been getting regular, if a bit muffled responses after 11 months. Don't worry about it. Any kind of progress after a couple of weeks is great. You just need to be patient, keep at it, and don't lose hope. It will work out in the end. We're both very glad that I persevered. Some tulpas just take a little longer. You never know, they might be vocal in a month or two. Like everybody else, it does no harm to let them choose a form of their own, it can actually make them grateful for giving them the freedom of picking for themselves. Of course you can always use a simple placeholder like an orb until they choose. Make sure you do plenty of forcing and narration. Try to include them in your life as much as you can, constantly acknowledging them (as in just remembering them). Ask questions, read books to them, give them plenty of attention (but not to the point where you get completely distracted from what you are doing). I don't really have anything to add to shyness, but it sounds like you are doing great, keep it up, and good luck! DragonFriend and Saphira Part of the road to becoming a better person lies in defeating the darkness inside yourself, then helping others to do the same. There is nothing to compare to watching a sunrise with those who you love the most. "Step by step, moment by moment"
