CM February 28, 2015 February 28, 2015 On December I officially reported my tulpas Desmond and L gone (on this forum or the Finnish one), because I hadn't seen them in a long while. They were nowhere to be found, I couldn't hear them, feel them or barely even think of how they looked. It was the same deal on the wonderland we used to hang out in. I was sad, of course, but moved on with my life and a month (or so) later I started creating another tulpa now known as Nevira, and we were doing just fine. But then one of the lost tulpas pops back out of nowhere and says he's been on a vacation and has now returned, while the other one might never come back. The weird thing is how this all happened, because when he came back he seemed far, far more developed than when he left. His speech was clear, as was his presence, and I can feel his emotions stronger than ever (like right now he's kind of pissed that I wrote about him in a somewhat negative manner earlier on this post (though I can't see it)). Nevira was also very surprised. We had talked about my past duo, but she had never met either. So I just thought I'd make this thread in case anyone's had similar things happen, a tulpa taking a break and coming back all of a sudden. I'd like to hear your experiences. :) Iro - He/they - 30th April 1997 - Host of the system - Speaker if there's no tag Desmond - He/him - 21st April 2014 L - He/him - 5th May 2014 Nevira - She/her - 14th December 2014 Misa - She/her - 5th December 2015 Roska - He/him - 22nd July 2019 Danyla - They/them - 13th July 2020 Asha - He/him - 13th June 2022
Yakumo March 1, 2015 March 1, 2015 Well did you actually ask him what he was doing on his vacation? Did he at least bring you some souvenir? Your story reminds me of Faemon's tulpas who left, but not without looting his wonderland palace. Don't think they've returned though.
Linkzelda March 1, 2015 March 1, 2015 I guess anecdotes such as these portray that a tulpa’s development isn’t necessarily wholly contingent on an eternal acknowledgement from the host’s end of treating them as sentient. In other words, I would presume that if one had an inkling of acknowledging their tulpa in some way in the back of their mind, and took a break/hiatus from trying to consciously contribute to their development, or rather their (the host’s) propensity in wanting to treat them as sentient in their subjective experience, it wouldn’t be too surprising to see them develop on their own. Though there’s those that fall under the camp of feeling it would be insta-tulpas, though our imagination seems a bit grandiose to even worry about such speculations. It’s kind of like how I assessed myself in lucid dreaming; I took a break from consciously trying to go through things like WILDs (Wake Initiated Lucid Dream) and such, and then hello virtual experiential realities in my natural sleep. It seems it’s probably just your concept and faith of them was lost as you had some struggle reconciling with them for a while. And now that their arrival wasn’t contingent on your conscious awareness, you can now enjoy that new revelation. CM March 1, 2015 Author March 1, 2015 I asked him now if he brought me anything. "How should I have known that you wanted something?!" was the answer :D I'm guessing that's a no. And Linkzelda: I think I understood correctly what you wrote, despite the science-y words in your text : D English is not my mother tongue... and you're probably right. It seems logical Iro - He/they - 30th April 1997 - Host of the system - Speaker if there's no tag Desmond - He/him - 21st April 2014 L - He/him - 5th May 2014 Nevira - She/her - 14th December 2014 Misa - She/her - 5th December 2015 Roska - He/him - 22nd July 2019 Danyla - They/them - 13th July 2020 Asha - He/him - 13th June 2022
Linkzelda March 3, 2015 March 3, 2015 Those were mostly philosophical standpoints rather than ones people may feel had empirical foundations (which I know doesn't have any). I guess it's natural for others to feel Philosophy can be intertwined with Science, but being scientific was not my intention (not here for pseudo-science), and I do apologize for said connotations. CM March 3, 2015 Author March 3, 2015 I didn't know what to call them since I didn't understand what they meant, so uh... xD I didn't know if they were philosophical or scientific. And it's fine. raymond13557 March 5, 2015 March 5, 2015 Snow and the others often leave and come back sometimes and with my new tulpa I think she is very attached to me so I don't think she will want a vacation from me since she is sort of shy and will often cling to my leg when she needs me. I don't really mind if they vacation I mean I got my moogle tulpa who is also named ari who went on hiatus came back and merged with my new ari .. She looks fluffier and more cuddly I can even see this in the mmorpg she is in " wildstar" Tulpa:Snow Mindscape: Artopia
CM April 8, 2015 Author April 8, 2015 I feel like I should report this here too, but the other lost tulpa returned as well. Actually I dragged him back but he decided to stay. Had a couple if NPC's find him for me :D Doesn't feel like they were ever really gone. I can't think back to the time they weren't here.
