Sands July 11, 2012 July 11, 2012 Go in thinking that they are sentient, much easier in the long run. So to me, my tulpa has been sentient from the start, but I'm unsure when he started showing the signs that he truly is even on the standards of this place. Pretty early I guess, now that I think about it, but at the time I didn't perhaps quite realize the signs. He's shown me enough now. But him becoming vocal is still going to take time. Just... don't "wait" for the sentience while thinking that it's too early and forcing the tulpa to be an unmoving puppet. That too is puppeting and a horrible thing to do to a thinking being who just wants to exist. You're just denying their right to free will. Purlox July 11, 2012 July 11, 2012 Well, I'm just few hours in and I already have a sentient tulpa. So it is certainly possible.
