Einulf May 17, 2015 May 17, 2015 From what I understand about the normal process, your problem is fairly common. None of my Tulpas were created in a "normal" way, so I can't say for certain why. Aura thinks she can though, so I'll let her explain. When a Tulpa is still developing, they need to keep a large amount of focus on their own form and actions. This is especially true before they really start to become truly independent. In addition, the host's mind is usually not used to another presence being there, and automatically created a small amount of distance between the host and Tulpa. This distance requires a deliberate effort to cross, particularly by the Tulpa. When the host focuses on the Tulpa they cross the gap themselves, allowing the Tulpa to interact with them much easier. Over time your Tulpa will be able to regulate more mundane things, such as maintaining their form, memories, and voice, to their own subconscious. This will allow them more "memory", if you put it in computer terms, for other actions like bridging that gap themselves. That gap usually will get smaller on its own as well, as your mind becomes more comfortable with cohabiting with your Tulpa. I hope this answers your question. Sorry about the wordiness there. Aura tends to explain things in LOTS of detail. She seems satisfied with her response, and it looks good to me, too. Hope it helps. Einulf May 17, 2015 May 17, 2015 That's fairly close to what I was attempting to say. Right now your subconscious is trying to "shield" you from something it doesn't recognize, thus creating something akin to a computer's firewall. You can bypass it, but it requires more effort than it really needs to. Over time that "shield" will weaken and eventually disappear as your subconscious becomes familiar with your Tulpa, making contact much easier. When I first started interacting with Einulf on a regular basis I went through something similar, though there were several key differences thanks to my atypical creation. Still, for about five months after we began communicating there were large portions of time where I couldn't reach him at all. These usually occurred during times where he was focused on something, like class or a video game. Over time it got easier to bridge that gap, and eventually it got to the point that it didn't exist at all after a year. AracnidsGrip/Rick May 18, 2015 May 18, 2015 Hi Aura! I'm Vriska xDDD could you please tell me how do I change the text color? XD :D :D :D :D please help this young tulpa xD
Kiahdaj May 18, 2015 May 18, 2015 Young tulpas are not fully independent, and still require their host's attention. At an early stage, the tulpa will not do anything on its own at all, while they are not being focused on; they will lie in a dormant state, until then. It is of course nothing to worry about. Simply continue to force, and over time, they will become more independent and autonomous. "If this can be avoided, it should. If it can't, then it would be better if it could be. If it happened and you're thinking back to it, try and think back further. Try not to avoid it with your mind. If any of this is possible, it may be helpful. If not, it won't be."
Einulf May 18, 2015 May 18, 2015 There's an icon to the right of the text size menu on the post screen that you can select a color from. When you want to return to the original, just hit the "close tag" option. We tend to use actual commands that are put in [brackets] instead of the menu, since we've been on forums for a while. The command for color is color=######, where the symbols are the RBG code. You can also use common colors like red, blue, green, or purple. The command to end the color is /color. Hope that helps!
