Bambi August 20, 2015 Author August 20, 2015 To-Do List I Thursday, August 20, 2015 Post 10 You guys, I am SOOOOO grateful that today is Thursday! I had actually figured that I would like Tuesdays the most (two history classes and nothing else), but because I have to drive alllll the way up there, then back, then up there again, then back again, it's lost its appeal a bit (though I still enjoy Tuesdays haha). Instead, Thursdays are the best days, because I go to my little history class, chill out for about an hour (meaning that I can work on homework in the library instead of at home), go to science lab, and then speed home. Because of the easy loads on Thursday, that also means I can tulpaforce a bit more freely. I'm getting better at managing the very limited resource of time! I've got a few things to do for some classes, but they can at least wait until I get done with this post. We're doin' good. Okay! So. All this talk of time management (which will henceforth be referred to as simply "T.M.") has led me to believe that making a to-do list here, specifically for tulpa-related activity, would be freaking fantastico. I've actually got one on a different, more private website, but to make one here as well that would be from now until this Saturday . . . would be good. I think. At the very least I can try it out and see! Aug. 20 - Aug. 23 (X) Walk around the town square for at least ten minutes. () Perform an exercise to help me hear James. (3x) () Go up and down N Main Street for at least twenty minutes. () Write down descriptions of the living room in your apartment. (X) Proxy. (2x) (X) Ask James the seven questions from "A Response to Questions." () Have James show me where his work is for at least ten minutes. () Visualize James. James: Hello, all!
Bambi August 20, 2015 Author August 20, 2015 A Response to Questions II Thursday, August 20, 2015 Post 11 1) What is something you want to do before we leave Bridgeport? (He answered, but I don't view that as totally appropriate for the progress report thread! XD) 2) What's an idea for a world that you would like to see us do? A world that appears to be inside a human body. I'd especially like to see the teeth. 3) If you got to choose what instrument I would play, what would it be? Either the violin or the flute. 4) What is your favorite book? The Casual Vacancy by J.K. Rowling. 5) Which do you prefer: Victorian or Medieval era? I like the Victorian era for its clothes, but I think the Medieval era is a bit more interesting. 6) Which would you rather be: a knight or a samurai? I don't really care, but if I just had to pick . . . probably a knight. 7) What is your favorite manga? Naruto. James: Hello, all!
Bambi August 21, 2015 Author August 21, 2015 Bridgeport - I Friday, August 21, 2015 Post 12 Hey, y'all, look! It's Friday! :D Anyway, I don't always want to write about "progress," because sometimes not a whole lot of progress is made in a single day, two days, or even a week. That's why every now and then I like to make posts that are more geared to what tulpa are, or what tulpamancy means, or whatever. Why? New users read PRs just as much as they do guides and the general forums, so I think it's important to reinforce memories and blah blah blah. To get to the point, as I explore Bridgeport more I will probably document some of what I see. :) Last night, before I went to bed, I finally managed to stay awake long enough to go on an Adventure with James. ^^ We walked around the town square for a bit, just exploring it and seeing how it looks, and I'm so glad that I finally managed to do that without passing out haha James and I live in an apartment complex just across the street from the town square, so it isn't very hard for us to walk out the door, down the stairs, then cross the road, and walk through the front gate. The Square is surrounded by a brick wall, but it's done so in such a strategic manner that it's actually quite pretty. When we entered, it was almost like coming into a small woodland area, because the area to the side of you was covered with trees. I looked to my right, and the corner waaay down there (it's a pretty big square and all, seeing how it's a city) is nearly blocked off with the trees, but all of the corners, we discovered, are a bit more sparse. I remember that the sky was a bit overcast when we first started out, but when we walked around we seen that the clouds were starting to clear up on the other side of the Square. It was quite pretty. James: Hello, all!
Bambi August 22, 2015 Author August 22, 2015 Quiz Answers I Friday, August 21, 2015 Post 13 I guess I'm taking full advantage of my free time. :3 Anyway, it's important to credit all of these questions to an online here. I'm just letting James answer these, and I wanted to record his answers over here at tulpa.info. What house should you live in? Quizaster. 1) You want to include a photograph of your family in your annual holiday cards. So you: Hire a professional photographer and make all your family members wear matching outfits. 2) The next time you visit New York City, the first place you'll go is . . . To the gallery of my favourite up-and-coming artist. I want to snap up a painting before she becomes really famous. 3) Most of my clothes . . . Are carefully chosen expressions of my personality and/or mood. I have a lot of very different items. 4) I spend most of my spare time . . . With friends. 5) I like to read . . . The classics. You know, Shakespeare, Dickens, Austen. 6) A really good wedding present is . . . A set of fine bone china. 7) Your partner wants to buy you an expensive piece of jewelry. You say . . . Surprise me! 8) You've had an unexpected windfall from a recently deceased great-aunt. What will you do with the extra money? Invest in safe stocks and bonds. Maybe it'll put your children through school one day. 9) What is your favourite meal to cook for others? A full three-course meal featuring a hearty roast as the entree with potatoes and carrots on the side. James' result: Victorian House You are slightly old-fashioned and appreciate traditional values. You like to live life fully, on a grand scale, and you celebrate every occasion with a sit-down family dinner and a bottle of champagne. That's actually pretty cool, because when I was first forcing James' personality and likes and whatnot the Victorian era was one of the things I stressed. XD James: Hello, all!
Bambi August 25, 2015 Author August 25, 2015 To-Do List II Monday, August 24, 2015 Post 14 (First, I want to note that to anyone who is waiting for a PM from me: I promise I'll get back to you! These past few days have just been pretty darn rough, and I'm trying to cope with everything whilst also managing tulpamancy, college, and a seasonal cold.) So, I wasn't able to complete the first To-Do List (which sucks), but perhaps I can complete this one! Aug. 24 - Sept. 7 2015 () Be able to hear James' mindvoice regularly by the end of his birthday weekend (and Monday). (X) Go on at least four Adventures with James. (X) Go on at least eight Quests with James. () Listen for James AT LEAST every other day. () Write down descriptions of each room in my apartment. (X) Think of at least five new worlds. () Complete 3/6 of the things James needs to say. James: Hello, all!
Bambi August 30, 2015 Author August 30, 2015 I Dream of Jamsie Sunday, August 30, 2015 Post 15 Yeah, I just had a dream about James--or not a dream about him, but one where he was in it. The king of the land was in danger, and there were a few people (myself and a few Naruto characters) that knew about it. Our mission was to get to the king first, so that his life would be saved. It was very much like a video game, so it's possible that I had actually been playing the video game in my dream and I just don't remember that part. When we finally got to the king--which was hard, because I kept getting shot and dying in the last level--we all jumped out at him. It was Tenten who ultimately saved him from death. I remember that as she was doing it, she was screaming something about a higher pay stub. XD When she saved him, I think I was a bit afraid that the king would kill the rest of us for not reaching him in time, but he was really just bewildered and confused. I forgot exactly what happened with the king, but I knew that Tenten had something like a tulpa, too. She took me to her house and started cooking for her own, and I then knew that without a doubt she really could "see her own" like I could James. When I woke up I asked James if he really was in my dream last night, and he said yes. I asked him if he was the king, and he said yes. I kind of think he's messing with me on the last bit though. XD Anyway, I just want you all to know that I really haven't just skipped out on tulpamancing these past few days. A lot of crap in the physical world's went down that really made it hard to just get online or even really focus on James, but I was at least able to talk with him a bit. Unfortunately, no progress has been made in regards to being able to hear his mindvoice--but that is to be expected, because of the fact that I haven't been doing any active forcing or anything like that. P.S. Next Thursday is James' birthday! :D James: Hello, all!
Bambi August 30, 2015 Author August 30, 2015 Letter Writing Sunday, August 30, 2015 Post 16 A while back--perhaps last week or the week before, I don't exactly remember--I wrote a letter to James. The letter, if I remember correctly, was pretty much just, "Hey James! Please write back and surprise me!" Well, I finally just decided to check my mailbox . . . and I did get a letter back. The problem is is that it's an entire page full, but I can't read anything on there? I don't know if this is a mental block or if it is something else, but I know that I just can't read it. It occurs to me that James might be trolling, but I don't know. ^_^; So . . . I wrote another "letter." It's really just a greeting. I'm going to tell James later to go to get the letter, go to his apartment, and respond with anything but, "Hey Brandi!" I hope it works out. That being said, I wonder if anyone else has ever experienced something like this? James: Hello, all!
TheCrawlingCreepypasta August 31, 2015 August 31, 2015 Can you see everything else fine and not-blurry in your wonderland? If you can see everything else dandy, then I have no explanation for you, maybe try focusing harder on your wonderland?
Bambi September 5, 2015 Author September 5, 2015 One Year Celebration Friday, September 4, 2015 Post 17 Yesterday marked James' first-ever birthday! I wish that I had been able to write some stuff in here at the time, but I'm constantly so swamped with work that needs to be done, social obligations, and tulpamancery in general that it's hard to find time to just come here and chat (and do this weird thing here). But that's okay. I can't remember if I've already said this, but some time ago I decided to move James' birthday celebrations from yesterday all the way till Labor Day, so that I would actually have plenty of time to do some things with him and, you know, give him the birthday thingy that he deserves. So . . . since I was more or less not able to do jack-crap yesterday, here are some things that I want to do tonight: 1) Proxy - Find a prompt or two to talk about. 2) Bridgeport - Have James show me where his work is. 3) Bridgeport - We can hang out in my apartment for a bit. James'll know what I mean when I read this to him haha 4) Bridgeport - Go buy some stuff for our living quarters, yaaay us 5) Tulpamancer Duties - Finish writing about my apartment 6) Tulpamancer Duties - Go into a deep meditative state and listen for James I'll report back later. :) James: Hello, all!
