Samiel023 August 27, 2015 August 27, 2015 How do I start...? I guess I'll start with saying I do in fact believe in all of this tulpa stuff, but never experimented. This is gonna sound ridiculous, but please take this seriously. I have a friend. She kept telling me that magic (like magic from fantasy stories) is real and said you can see it eventually if you just believe. After a few years I said to myself "Why not give it a try?" Eventually I began "sensing" things with my mind. I have been able to do this for 4 or 5 years. All this time I have been able to speak to them with my mind or out loud, but when they speak I hear their voices in my mind. At this point there are like 15 different people varying from elves to a vampire to an angel and even dragons. They all claim magic (like from fantasy stories) is real. Very rarely I think I see something move in the corner of my eye and I turn to look and nothing is there and same goes for my hear. I think I hear someone say my name or something, but noone is there. Also I forget about some of them sometimes and when I remember they conveniently show up asking me something or just wanting a short chat. I have known about this tulpa stuff for about the same length of time. Lately I have been losing hope and begun to wonder about tulpas again. Could my friend and I be mistaken? Could what I sense really just be a bunch of tulpas is the early stages of development? Could they be tulpas that are taking forever to become their own self because I am working on so many without realizing it? How long does it even take normally for just one? Please help me and ask any questions you may have because I think I may have left info out.

Go easy! Wowy. First it was just a question being asked. Second, there are a minority of tulpamancers who accept a metaphysical explanation of tulpas and believe that thoughtforms have a manifestation on the astral plane. It is a common belief with modern magicians as well. I see no reason for hostility to someone just because they believe something a bit unusual. Answering the question politely or a bit of critical advice or friendly disagreement might have been more productive here. I have met this kind of reaction from people on Tulpa Info myself and it is unpleasant to say the least. GlassJustice I am appalled by your response to this person. I cannot respect this kind of thing at all. How do I start...? I guess I'll start with saying I do in fact believe in all of this tulpa stuff, but never experimented. This is gonna sound ridiculous, but please take this seriously. I see no reason not to take you seriously and at your word about what you have experienced. I personally don't have any answers for you. This kind of thing is a bit beyond me. Most tulpamancers believe that tulpas are a psychological phenomenon rather than spiritual and metaphysical or magic. However, there is a place here for those who feel tulpas do have a bit of magic to them. You might try the metaphysical forums and ask your questions there. You can find a link on the main forum index page, but here https://community.tulpa.info/forum-metaphysics-and-parapsychology--17 Also read the guides. They will give you a good understanding of the prevailing theories and beliefs of most tulpamancers and how tulpas are created. https://community.tulpa.info/forum-guides Good luck. I am curious to find out what you learn while you are here on our forum and whether or not these phenomenon are in any way related to tulpas. Members can do "progress reports" and it would be fun to see where this all leads you! Here is the progress report forum https://community.tulpa.info/forum-progress-report
ThreeSevens August 27, 2015 August 27, 2015 Son what kind of ketchup sandwiches have YOU been smoking?! Lol, all jokes aside, my viewpoint from that of a conservative Christian who has his hand in the deliverance ministry is that when dealing with entities you are not 100% sure about their origins... Well, my ministry is very clear on the matter. Get them out of your life. This is extreme and is applied when their is obvious spiritual or mental oppression. Now MY advise is to look at the 'fruit' produced. Are these voices positive, encouraging, and leaving a good influence in your life. I cant answer these questions. And as far as magic is concerned, even I as a conservative Christian will say IT DOES exist. However I thoroughly believe that we should not touch the shit. Not when we have access to faaaar greater power. Like a flower beneath the concrete Pushing up under the weight Put a crack in the back of the pavement And break through into the light of day

For the OP, as your friend said, it is real if you believe it to be but as someone famous I can't remember said "just because we haven't seen a flying monkey doesn't mean it's not real." **Proud to be a drug free thoughtform!**
Luminesce August 27, 2015 August 27, 2015 ... To be the first to answer your question, yes, they could be a form of tulpas. Imaginary friends to be precise. Imaginary friends are effectively tulpas without sentience, assuming they're well developed. And you could indeed be imagining them, probably are. Belief is a powerful thing, your mind will often find a way to try and prove what you believe to be true. However imaginary friends are just that, imaginary, existing wholly in your mind. Giving them legitimacy as creatures existing outside your mind is just more imagining, though your brain will likely try and convince you with illusions or hallucinations that they are real, depending on the strength of your belief. Anyways, yeah, filter out the negative and welcome the positive. Also try not to produce symptoms of schizophrenia. The imaginary thoughtforms you have can be potentially made tulpas, though you don't seem to have any permanently or very well defined. A tulpa is an imaginary friend you've given a lot of time to develop, and trained your mind to work on its own. A tulpa is sentient, aware of its existence and yours, and generally a very understanding friend. Not every imaginary thoughtform you think of (or "encounter") is a tulpa, or rather, none of them are at first. It takes time and effort to make a fully developed tulpa who can act and think on their own. And it can be dangerous if you have trouble distinguishing imagination from reality, or trouble controlling your thoughts. Tulpas do not "turn evil" or do anything undesirable really, unless you believe they will. So to that extent an amount of mental discipline is required. You can't let thought tangents of something you don't want to happen happen, you have to be aware enough to say "No, that didn't happen. I didn't want it to, and I give it no credit. Moving on.." Check out the guides section of the forum for more information on tulpas. Hi! I'm Lumi, host of Reisen, Tewi, Flandre and Lucilyn. Everyone deserves to love and be loved. It's human nature. My tulpas and I have a Q&A thread, which was the first (and largest) of its kind. Feel free to ask us about tulpamancy stuff there.

I was bullied at a younger age and I must of just wanted something to believe in to deal with it all.
