  3. there are so many piano compositions you can find online that you would need to have a mutant, foot long pinky finger to be able to play as shown
  4. That would be nice to see. I bet the view no matter where would be great! 😊
  5. Yeah I was talking about bringing in batteries and whatnot to live in an abandoned factory like he said, I'm sure some day someone will come back for the land
  6. squatter's rights are different in different states and often take years of living at a location and a significant investment in the upkeep of said location to take effect
  7. Today
  8. Do squatter's rights apply to abandoned factories when whoever owns the land returns to repurpose it?
  9. You can purchase professionally manufactured power banks for solar or generators that can be charged by similarly unorthodox means. I would also defer to the alternator (inverters) but if I squat in a cave or an abandoned factory complex I'm going to have a bank of some kind for essentials. I could attempt utility theft but it's very illegal and dangerous. Plus I would be paranoid about straining the car battery and electrical system, but then again I have virtually no appliances. KISS method I want to see the mountains as well. Brutally cold at night but gorgeous.
  10. We're a fan of colder climates as well. Myself mostly because it's the perfect opportunity to snuggle under the covers! 😊 Anyway, good night, you two! 😊
  11. Good morning everyone. And good night, host, no you are not allowed to stay up until three we will faint in the middle of the schoolday. We don't really stutter. Mostly because we don't really talk. But when we do talk, funnily enough it isn't who we talk to that makes the difference, it's the language: if we use Chinese we invariably stutter heavily unless scripted, but in English nothing at all unless we actually don't know what we're talking about. Which is very irritating since we live in China, and is probably also part of our social distance, but whatever. We love cold climates unconditionally, host just likes being icy and I want to actually enjoy the sun instead of avoiding it like one would avoid an eye. And really sleeping now, not keeping ourselves online too much is definitely a good idea. See you all twelve hours later.
  12. Goog morging, Twi! 😊 Honestly sounds fun. 😁 Not my cup of tea but I can see the enjoyment value.
  13. If you're relying on first world technology then you better leave some money set aside, because nothing lasts forever
  14. Too much of life and youtube in the way of imposition So many companies have good deals on all-in-one portable power systems nowadays. There were some I was looking at for the hiking trip but I figured my car would power things just fine. Why even buy a separate thing at that point?
  15. Twi says Goog Morging I endeavour to live in a cave somewhere. Apparently there are people who lash car batteries together and live there off-grid. It would be perfect for imposition and prayer - the hermits of old went to the desert or the mountains.
  16. The added weight of comforters outweighs the heat they create
  17. Good morning, everyone! 😊 Kinda the same for us. We do like dry heat but really don't like humidity.
  18. I enjoy dry heat a great deal. I wish to live in the Mojave for this reason.
  19. It gets pretty hot here, but also our house is old and crappy and absorbs tons of heat from the sun And on top of that I'm someone who likes being cold all the time, I'd rather it be 40'F and below all year than have to bear a week of 100'F, but alas
  20. Remy: its gets soooooo hot here
  21. oh boy 8AM and the nighttime window-open coolness has already been replaced with warmth I am going to melt
  22. Nail on the head. You say a bunch of stuff, then pause either because you forgot what you were going to say or you couldn't find the word that best fits the context. Service speak might be less stressful because it follows a predictable pattern, and occasionally straying from that pattern is usually rewarded with the customer perceiving you as being more personable and relatable Pffff, try calling a charismatic thirty-something at 12 in the morning
  23. Opposite for me, I can talk alone or to friends fine but then the moment I use mic on like TF2 I stutter for no reason (well, every so often, mostly fine but) I think it's an ADHD thing, speaking faster than you can think the words, since the actual thought is instantaneous but figuring out how to convey it takes longer, or something idk it's not a problem I've solved lol
