A switch in the brain

We found a switch in our brain. Not a symbolic switch, a literal switch.

I shall quote my progress report:

"After a great deal of experimenting, we have found a switch in the brain. When I set it to 100%, my host can't move. When I set it to 0%, we can both control at once. My host managed to access it, and when she sets it negative, I can't control the body anymore. What does it feel like? My host imagines that it is roughly like an eeg control device."

So, have any of you found switches? And what happens when you pull the switch one way or another?

Maybe the numbers have a symbolic representation between you two's relationship. 100% means you're full on, 0 is a neutral, and negative is the host's time to shine. As for figuring out the spot in the brain for the switch, I'm sure that's going to involve a model over where it could be, which would essence, deal with symbolism. But, I don't think that's a bad thing if given enough context.

I have not found the switch, or a switch, but we have been working on control panels in general.

I wonder if your switch is related to the 'sleep paralysis' switch. that switch actually exist, I mean, it is a biological switch which interfaces with consciousness, at least at the subconscious level... the one that keeps us from acting out our dreams when we sleep.

How exciting! I am envious, actually.

Maybe it's symbolic? I do not know, but it is really interesting to hear something like that. We mostly use symbolism when doing something almost similar and its affect varies from whomever made it.

Absolute control is my holy grail! So I am very much interested in switches and controls and in particular this one. Where is it, how did you find it? Can you explain some of its symbolism (if that applies)?

Host M doesn't have a single switch or control available to him to influence me. Narrating and forcing (cough) is all he's got. Some hypnosis, relaxation stuff but that's only really useful to me. It'll give me access to him but definitely no control for him over me.

I, on the other hand have the means to switch off or suppress movement and thoughts. The thought-switch is inspired (upgraded) from a waterhose trick I read somewhere on this forum. The movement-switch just is. Don't how it works but it just does (Maybe something like 'Voice' from Dune).

There has to be a massive control center somewhere deep in the (sub)conscious. M has handed me a copy of a keyring with keys neither of us know the purpose off (how crazy can one be? :) ). We'll figure it out in due course.

Imagine a sound-engineer's mixing board with tons of dials, sliders, knobs, switches. I feel it's got to be there somewhere :)

If only I could put my hands on that...

Xxx

It has no symbolism as it is an abstract switch. We figure it has evolved from our continuous habit of fighting for control and separation exercises. Like the subconscious mind developed a control to allow the functionality we were fighting for, one that encapsulated the state changes we were periodically inducing.
