Moose July 16, 2012 July 16, 2012 She's still not really talking, but she's dealt with my mind since late March at the earliest (when I started, not sure when she first started on the road to sentience though), and maybe it's about time I gave her some access. It'd probably make things less boring for her, at least. Though I did leave her a good twenty books to read. It might help her speech, too. I never actually had a room for my memories, so I set one up. Nothing major, just a large bedroom sized room with bookshelves on all the walls. I did lock away a single memory, because it's a bit disturbing and I'd rather not put her through that, but besides that, all I have to do is give her the key. But I know some consider it a sign of trust that should be given only when a host knows their tulpa well enough that that trust means something more, so I'm not sure. I did ask her, and she said "I think so", which is more than I expected, the first thing she's said in four or five days. It'll be great once her speech is actually a common thing >_>
Moose July 17, 2012 Author July 17, 2012 It sounds to me like Tulsi is a lazy bitch. What did Tulsi ever do to you ;-;?
Moose July 17, 2012 Author July 17, 2012 Done o_q Here's hoping it's beneficial to her, especially to her speech ( '-') I had told her earlier today that I was going to let her in when I forced after work... and when I saw her I noted that she was wearing much nicer clothes than usual... And I'm like "Did she... dress up for the occasion o_q?"
ThatOneGuy July 17, 2012 July 17, 2012 It should help. Orange juice helps with concentration headaches.
Nevermore July 17, 2012 July 17, 2012 I found that giving access to memories was helpful, I think it not only gives them more to do, but also it helps build trust. Moose July 18, 2012 Author July 18, 2012 To any of you folks who have given your tulpa memory access: Did they do very little for a little while after you gave them access? Because Tulsi did jack squat pretty much during tonight's session, and I'm curious.
Nevermore July 18, 2012 July 18, 2012 When Arya became more aware, she seemed to sort of disappear for a while, then later I found out she had built a decrepit Atlantis like city to represent my memories. She said that is where she accesses them. Moose July 20, 2012 Author July 20, 2012 Yeah... I'm pretty sure here that I accidentally gave her access to everything... She said a couple things related to something I was doing at the time... that I hadn't told her I was doing. And then I'm like "Hold on.. Tulsi... Do you have access to my memories, or my senses and mind too?" And she said "I'm everywhere."
Chupi July 23, 2012 July 23, 2012 To any of you folks who have given your tulpa memory access: Did they do very little for a little while after you gave them access? Because Tulsi did jack squat pretty much during tonight's session, and I'm curious. Very much yes. I gave her full access to about everything well before becoming properly vocal, and she's been acting rather inactive. Now that I can have some level of conversation with her through thoughts, she tells me that she's sorting through stuff. I gave her access after I realized that she had brought me to her memory library before. Most of what I was still waiting for was her trust, and this demonstrated it. I've heard from other tulpae that subconscious access does help with becoming vocal.
