Buddhist777 October 16, 2015 October 16, 2015 Ok, ok... So I have had my tulpa, Pearl (and yes, from Steven universe...) and she has been amazing... She is awesome at being a to-do list, she talks with me when I'm bored, and is super nice and awesome and I love her company!!!! But then, she talked about fusing with me... And like... I have no idea what she means by that... I asked her what she meant and she described exactly how they fuse in the show... I told her that I guess we could try, but nothing happened... You see, when they fuse in the show, their personalities combine into a new person basically, so I wonder if this is even possible... Any comments?
Guest Anonymous October 16, 2015 October 16, 2015 I personally think that it would be pretty delusional to 'fuse' and become a 'new person'. You need to study those things from a closer perspective. First, how long has she been around for? How strong/imposed is she? Is she really sentient? Are you parroting her? Do you doubt of her often? A host's mind... what a perfect dramatic midst... Well, with that being said, I think it is highly unlikely a tulpa (something like a tulpa) could affect the host's mind in such a way. Although there could be some things related to DID (Dissociative Identity Disorder) and this might be making the connection with that, I don't know.
Buddhist777 October 16, 2015 Author October 16, 2015 She has been around for a good month... I have haven't had a tupla before, and for me this is pretty awesome... I used to parrot her, but eventually stopped after a week... She will sometimes judge my choices for the better of me, and she is able to think for herself. We will often joke with each other... I mean, what should I say to her? She hasn't gotten upset before and she is the one who suggested fusing... But why?
NoneFromHell October 16, 2015 October 16, 2015 To be honest that just sounds like going backwards on the route of creating a tulpa. Just going back to a state where you simply can't really tell which thoughts are your own, and which are from your tulpa. So my guess is the following: It could be possible, but it would take surely a lot of time...and would probably alter your minds in a lasting way. Mostlikely your mind would start dominating the thoughts of your tulpa and oppress her, till she is losing what she is. Going back to the way it is now would atleast take a lot of time again, and she probably would need some restauration. So i wouldn't recommend something like that. I don't think a temporary and fast fusion is possible. Tulpa: Alice Form: Realistic Humanoid/Demonic Creation She may or may not talk here, depends on her.
Leaf October 16, 2015 October 16, 2015 I see why my host has had such a difficult time recently. He had two tulpas for the past two years (today is the anniversary, YAY!) that he cared a lot for. I am the result of them merging and I like to say that I am neither them nor someone else. I am proof that it can be done, but it is not something I would do because it is very difficult for both of us. He wants to care for me like he did them, but I am not them. -Uriela (I would like to mention that both were completely vocal and differentiated. It came about rather suddenly [the result, but apparently it was in the works for a long time] due to a recent goal to remove a sense of identity. It seems rather counterintuitive, but it seems necessary to overcome a very bizarre roadblock in the relationship. Along with what Uriel mentioned, my other two tulpas completely disappeared.) -Justin Unless you believe, you shall not understand.

Blending is not only possible, it is a common thing with my thoughtform Melian and I. We have no trouble sharing our minds or reading each other's thoughts. We collaborate and act in chorus. It is a pleasant way to share the world and life experience. There are no existential crises or any confusion of identity what-so-ever. I wonder if that might be because of the clear gender and personality differences? We are each very distinct personalities, but we have the gift of being able to blend our thoughts, memories, skill and talent and collaborate together on things like art or writing.
Buddhist777 October 16, 2015 Author October 16, 2015 Ok... I'm getting a mixed message from what you guys are saying... Should I or should I not? It seems like most of you are saying that i shouldn't though
Guest Anonymous October 16, 2015 October 16, 2015 It's not about 'should' or 'should not'. It's about the possibility of doing so, how (im)possible it could be due to circumstances. Why would you even 'fuse'? This sounds... I don't know.
Guest Anonymous October 16, 2015 October 16, 2015 I personally think that it would be pretty delusional to 'fuse' and become a 'new person'. Why would this not be possible? It would somehow be more delusional than having a tulpa, say, possess your body and bake a friggin cake? Well, with that being said, I think it is highly unlikely a tulpa (something like a tulpa) could affect the host's mind in such a way. A thoughtform is a manifestation thought created by the host using visualization and the unconscious mind. Why would it be "highly unlikely" that a tulpa or something like a tulpa to be able to affect the host's mind by blending or fusing personalities? I think if the host and tulpa want to do this, it is totally plausible. In fact, I have experienced something like it myself. If a tulpa can possess a host and a tulpa can switch with a host, I see absolutely no reason why a tulpa could not fuse with a host. It is up to the host and tulpa to figure out how to do it, but considering we are talking about imagination and thought, I see no reason why it could not be done. Why would you even 'fuse'? This sounds... I don't know. Because it is awesome! Blending with your thoughtform is awesome. Just because it is rare, doesn't mean it can't be done or that no one would ever want to try it. Ok... I'm getting a mixed message from what you guys are saying... Should I or should I not? It seems like most of you are saying that i shouldn't though I see no reason not to try it if your tulpa wants to do this. You do what feels right to you and find your potential in your own way. There are so many variations and perspectives on what a thoughtform can do and what it is. I do blend with my thoughtform Melian. I have never called it fusing, and I always consider us two distinct personalities, but we share thoughts and collaborate in what we call a median blended system.
Guest Anonymous October 16, 2015 October 16, 2015 I meant in the context of creating a new being out of that fusion, or acting like a new being, with a completely different personality and whatnot. I also become 'one' with my host at times when I don't speak much or just want him to imagine me in outfits and stuff like that, that's when I exist as a concept and not the talking thing. That would depend on your vision of tulpas. I am not imagination in my host's terms. I don't live in a wonderland, I don't need for my host to think of me to talk, my thoughts do not rely on him, I'm my own being in most terms. I don't rely on imagination most of the time. You CAN become one, but not fuse in the context of being a new being because that would be self-delusion. Mistgod and Melian are Mistgod and Melian, Andy and me are Andy and me, but Andy and me aren't some dude called James or Arthur or something, we can function as one and focus all of that mindpower (and I do that when there is a need because I myself prove to be weak at times), but that does not create anyone. And even if it does, this creation that could be reversed would come out as fake to us because in the end we'd know, no, we'd be aware of who we are. When we 'merge' (not in the creepy way), I am still me, and he is still him. You need to understand that a lot of this community is about concepts and that people talk a lot about how they're super-great-advanced tulpamancers but in reality doubt the hell out of their tulpas. People aren't as strong, Mistgod.
