Buddhist777 October 16, 2015 Author October 16, 2015 Guys... I didn't want to start a flame war... We might just wanna drop this here...
Guest Anonymous October 16, 2015 October 16, 2015 This is no flame war. It's a discussion. You should just calm down, people have discussions all the time with each other. At least it brings some activity to the forums, which is needed.
Guest Anonymous October 16, 2015 October 16, 2015 I meant in the context of creating a new being out of that fusion, or acting like a new being, with a completely different personality and whatnot. Oh maybe I misunderstood the OP? I think I see your argument. That each, host and tulpa, lose their individual identity in the fusion? NO Melian and I have never done fusion then. It is still possible I think, because we are dealing with pure mind, but I do see what you are getting at about it now. It isn't blending as I was describing it. Still, if a tulpamancer and tulpa wanted to try it, I see no reason why they shouldn't be able to. Scary stuff though, losing one's distinct personality. What if you got .. stuck like that? I see your point now.

FadingSpectrum October 16, 2015 October 16, 2015 Fade: This sounds a little like very extreme blending. It's a general plurality term, and I think Mistgod mentioned it. I have no idea if a tulpa and their host could do what you described. I do know that two of the soulbonds in our system can achieve something like this. Euryale and Stethen can blend so much, they pretty much become a single entity. However, the line between where one ends and the other begins has always been blurred; their very identities are interconnected. And, neither of them are a host. It sounds like your tulpa likes Steven Universe a lot. Basically, I'm getting the idea that she wants to form a Fusion with you. Why, I wouldn't know. Eury: You guys can try doing it, but you miiight want to be careful. Don't want to integrate her into you. A queer soulbonding system with tulpamantic influences.
Guest Anonymous October 16, 2015 October 16, 2015 That would depend on your vision of tulpas. I am not imagination in my host's terms. I don't live in a wonderland, I don't need for my host to think of me to talk, my thoughts do not rely on him, I'm my own being in most terms. I don't rely on imagination most of the time. I think that is amazing and fabulous! I think there are in fact many types of thoughtforms. Some are closer to being human like, others more like a dream. Melian is more like a dream. I do get what you are saying here. You need to understand that a lot of this community is about concepts and that people talk a lot about how they're super-great-advanced tulpamancers but in reality doubt the hell out of their tulpas. People aren't as strong, Mistgod. I see. So maybe waiting for a while until a tulpamancer feels quite confident and comfortable and the tulpa is strong with his or her identity, and there are few existential doubts, might be wise? Again, I see your point here too.

Giving up on your sense of self, your own being is what scares me the most.
Guest Anonymous October 16, 2015 October 16, 2015 No worries. Actually I think fusing with Melian and losing my own distinct identity and hers, to become a new person, might result in nothing but disaster. LOL
TheCrawlingCreepypasta October 17, 2015 October 17, 2015 So, gem-fusion, eh? The ultimate form of intimacy, fusion...Maybe this is just my crazy mind speaking; but how influenced are you by the show? In the show, gems do separate if they're not "compatible", so if you're inclined to fuse, and are worried by the outcome, why not operate off show-logic? Might want to try and "anchor" your personality before attempting. Tulpamancy is a new scientific frontier, and there are bound to be mistakes and errors. If you don't want to end up "changed", then just don't attempt it. No need to take unneeded risks, comrade. BTW: Should've made Garnet.
Buddhist777 October 17, 2015 Author October 17, 2015 Oh trust me, amethyst is next, then garnet, and finally Steven... This should be a riot...
