I see your points. I'm curious to see some math from you to make a guess. A lot of the number that you'll need are above.

I'll admit that I really don't know what proportion of accounts have tulpas. Above, I took everyone with at least 1 post to have a tulpa. But obviously, some of those won't have tulpas, and some lurkers will. I would guess that more lurkers have tulpas than posters don't, but I don't have anything to back this up. For that, the 30% figure is conservative. I also guessed that the Russian community was more like half the size of the English one, based on a few numbers I do know (the biggest site has like 7000 registered members, or something). And I came out way higher than your guesses, like 50k. But, anyway, it all comes out on the order of 10,000-100,000.
