Newcomer and some questions

Hello Guys,

 

i think i have read enough stuff, guides and threads all over the internet to somehow believe in the whole matter. Most things seem logical and "realistic" and even the whole "access to subconcious and memories" seems to make sense somehow. I am rather interested in how the brain works and have gathered some broad knowledge about some stuff, like hoe memories are stored but sometimes inaccessible without training. Convincing me, that a tulpa can access those, came by a blog somewhere in which a tulpa quotes something from Portal 2 and it seemed like the creator didn't realize the fact.

 

Whatever, I have decided to give it a go. I mean, why not. If I suck, mess up or hurt anytulpa, I can just stop and leave the topic behind.

 

On that regard, I wanted to make a rough sketch of what I intend to do.

 

First of all, I have decided to make my tulpa a femald. My lifestyle could need the feminine touch and I am what most describe as a virgin. I've been a dick to women earlier in my youth and then I got fat. fml :D

Anyway, I don't really care if she becomes human or an animal. I like eagles and her being able to transform or be an eagle entirely would be nice. Wouldn't mind a human body either. I really don't think I would engage her sexually. My hand could become jealous ;)

 

Since many tulpa are different or even a complete oposite or socalled composite personality of their creator, I won't be surprised if my tulpa is fucked up beyond imagination (ha. ha.) since I am very unstable.

Image yourself a bottle of water, calmly swirling nd waving around, now imagine the water startled by some external influence, suddelny changing colours every time and raging like a fucking storm. It's not a perfect example but somehow gets close.

 

I somehow fear my tulpa being unstable too, messing up my psych even more. But maybe (which I hope) it will be freaking calm and stable.

 

So I can note down:

 

- Stable

- Calm

 

as personality traits. On with it then, what else do I enjoy? I like the cute type so s little portion of sugar-sweetness is needed. But she also should be able to tell me to fucking do XY RIGhT NOW, so she also needs to have a strong will or at least be self-confident.

 

- Stable

- Calm

- Sweet/Cute

- Confident/Strong will

 

I think that's a good start, since this is what I desire most. I'll look through other threads a little more and collect other enjoyable traits. Do you guy's have any idea/recommendations?

 

Over the course of the next week I'll think about the matter more and gather all the data needed to make a plan of what I will and need to do.

Although picking a method will be a hard task. Fedes guide to passively forcing has been mentioned and personally I don't like it.

This has to do with the fact that I tried to see a ball but seriously, after 30 minutes of intense not-focussing I wasn't fucking able to see a red fucking ball on my devilish desk. I'll sure try more, though.

 

On the matter of a safe and tested guide, I probably should just take those in the guides-section, right?

 

Also, I am still unsure on the matter of parroting and puppeting. I am miles away from the need to know more about that but I would like to know now.

As far as I understand, both are like forcing an action or sentence on your tulpa with the impression of them being the ones acting/talking but they are actually not. On the matter, could someone explain the impact of the Vandenreich-Prism to me? I don't really understand the concept, though I have read of tulpa bring aggravated by it.

 

That being said, thanks for the help until now and I do still hope for more. I have never done anything like this before and feel a little unsure. Should I make a diary or blog about my experienced, once I start?

Noting down and on success making it available on the internet to help others like many did in the "scene" seems like good idea to me.

Even though I don't have personal experience, but I can tell that a lot of people have told that their tulpas can recite memories otherwise locked away on their subconcious.

Hurting anyone early on in the creation process is quite hard, but good luck anyway! :)

Just go with whatever works with you. It's quite hard to accidentally go wrong when creating personality.

Irish's and FAQ's guides are the most popular ones because they have shown best results. So if you want to be safe, lean on those.

Parroting and puppeting are what their words describe, making your tulpa do stuff by your own will, not doing it on their own. And as for the prism, it's an anti-puppeting technique. The idea is that your mind is so focused on creating that prism and balancing that feather/plank/whatever so that you can't puppet your tulpa, allowing it to move on it's own.

Posting about your experiences on a log helps keep track of your progress, while giving useful tips for newcomers to see how you created your tulpa. It is also a good nostalgia moment when you some day go back to reading it with your fully fledged tulpa.

Nesterbones, although he has multiple tulpae, his methods are very unique to him. What he does might not work for you, or anyone else at all. He's exceptional, which isn't always a good thing.

Irish isn't an admin anymore, and isn't even around that much.

1. Will the appearance I give my tulpa affect its choice of personality, if it decides to change its personality?

2. If I listen to music while creating my tulpa, will it affect my tulpa's taste in music?

To answer your questions:

 

1). The appearance does not affect the personality. At all. Many people have made strange tulpas and scary tulpas that are pleasent to be around.

 

2). Yes, to a certain degree. I listen to dubstep, and my tulpa has taken a liken to dubstep, and electronic music in general. It's good for development too!
