Recently, about 5 to 6 day ago to be exact, my Tulpa from what I can tell vocalized to me for the first time. Since then however, she has not spoken to me. I have looked around on the forum and found a few people who have had the same situation. Is it normal or at least not a bad sign if my Tulpa has not vocalized again yet? I am asking this just for clarification, and relief of my slight worries. Thank you, whoever comments in advance. Have a blessed day!

While I'm still rather new at this myself, I think it's relatively normal for a young tulpa to vocalize infrequently in the beginning. I only get bits of speech from mine and most times it's been a few days apart.

What comes to mind for me is a baby, when it starts to speak. You get that first word, "mama" or "dada", and then that's it for quite some time. They use them more as they develop and start to add new words to their vocabulary, but it's a learning process.

For me and my tulpa at least, I believe that's what it is. We're both learning to use our words and talk with each other.

Thinking about it now, it makes sense why narration is so important. The brain learns by observing and slowly practicing what it observes. Narration isn't just giving your tulpa attention, it's actually teaching speaking skills. :3

Vriska: Oh. That's very normal. Same happened to me. The first time I talked, I remained in silence for days until I learned more words. Think she's maybe learning more from you. :) :) :) :)

I've seen a good number of people report that they had some sort of vocal/emotional response early on, and then didn't get anything else for a long time. Don't worry about it being a bad sign or something (it's not) and use the response that you got as motivation.
