I surmise that she just can't reach me.

If you feel the pressure, let it have full scope. Tell your Tulpa she is allowed to do so.

Build up positive emotions and feelings of openness in your solar plexus and send them to your Head/Tulpa. If it doesn't talk yet you could try to exclusively communicate with feelings.

I'm about 3 months into creation but did it quite inefficient in retrospect, so I understand your frustration.

Since Friday I'm doing multiple sessions a day and it works out quite well. My pressure got near a headache and I got a static noise in my ears. (I hope this is a good sign at least)

Yesterday I could play this "emotion game with my Tulpa". I was sending her emotions of happiness and she was sending some of them back. It was quite different from normal emotions, so I believe these were the first signs of sentience.

Whatever you do - don't give up!

Uh, sorry, it's actually 40 days and 70 hours. I mindlessly copied the wrong values from an old log file.

Although it's true that I probably don't narrate as much as I should, I think there should be some signs by now nonetheless.

As to what I count as sentience: Well, I don't know, but I believe that the tulpa is already sentient to some extent, but there aren't any signs of sentience yet, definite or vague. If I didn't, I'd go insane or give up. I surmise that she just can't reach me. She can't effect any change on the wonderland or herself that would be reflected in my mind, in my version of the wonderland. Perhaps she can even speak, but I can't hear her. The same applies to those elusive waves of emotion. Yeah, wishful thinking.

There is something, though. I can often feel really strange sensations in my head, usually in the back, but they could be nothing but a conditioned response. They feel like burning and sometimes pressure. They vary in intensity. Also, localized transient surges of pain and pressure aren't uncommon. I don't remember having these sensations before. I think they started suddenly after or during one session, but that was fairly long ago, 20 days, I guess. Nothing much has changed since then, so I'm afraid her development is stagnant.

As to your latter question, my tulpa doesn't move at all. She simply sits there, on the bed, and stares at the opposite wall.

Needless to say, I'm growing really worried, and this concern doesn't help at all.

Sorry for my writing style. I'm in no mood to take my time and compose coherent text. I hope it's intelligible.

I'd suggest narrating a lot, focusing on questions. Introduce each narration "session" with greetings and saying that the tulpa can used the pressure in the back of your head to answer. Just a suggestion.

[Note: Opinions]

I got ~40 hours in and All I can get is brain pressure. I did about 20 hours of personality and I'm not sure if I did the personality right. I took the "Talk the Traits" route of forcing but I don't think I really talked to her directly.

When talking to your tulpa, do you just talk out loud in the room you are in? Or do you actually try and "Feel" like they are in the same room as you are?

To Bluesleeve:

Yesterday after having read your post, I decided to change my strategy. Instead of narrating, I intend to do several shorter personality sessions (15-30 minutes) during the day. Most of them would still be done in the usual manner. I just hope there aren't any aspects of narration that are essential to the process, for example talking to the tulpa while doing some other business.

So, I tried this new strategy today, and it seemed quite productive, unlike narration, which mostly felt as though I was just boring myself and the tulpa to death with my dull, mindless yatter.

Thanks, I really needed some encouragement.

It is optimal if you narrate as well. To have several shorter sessions is working for me too: I couldn't believe that I got sore eyes today and the headaches occurred whilst I was in school. (As though someone just hooked up)

So far I have only got 8h in total with shorter sessions (3 - 4 a day) and I'm making subjectively faster results than in the beginning.

I'd like to confirm the claimed effects of this method (doing many shorter sessions).

Since I took it up, the pressure's been very distinct, almost painful, and I even get occasional transient bursts of sharp pain during the day, even when I'm not thinking about my tulpa.

I still do one or two long, one-hour sessions a day just to be sure, and I still narrate, especially when taking a walk, but not as often as I used to.

The sensations are definitely more potent, but the question is: Does this method accomplish something more productive than just generating pressure and headaches?

I was, but then my tulpa suddenly became sentient today. Keep at it, you'll get there eventually.

Whoa! How many hours?

We are about to find out. Headaches should be a sign that our brain is working. Keep going and report in!
