Hey guys !

So i've got something to ask, there is one person that have a tulpa for like, 2 years i think ? And that person decided to stop having one. Well if it is his choice ok, but he said that having a tulpa for a long time can damage your brain, the left part or something like that, not sure, he said it can damage the brain because the tulpa is occupying a place that shouldn't be... But i dunno if he's right, or he imaginated this story just to quit tulpamency for good, to be honest i'm the type of guy who don't trust everything but i dunno, i'm kinda new when it comes to Tulpas, so i'm asking, thanks !

I don't think a tulpa can damage your brain, unless imagining things or just thinking can damage your brain. I think the answer is no, that can't happen.

not unless you believe there is a Mew under the truck in pokemon red and blue.. No that makes no sense at all. By the same logic you could damage your brain by reading a book that takes place in the 1800s, because it's a different era than the one you live in. Like, no

Hi, I'm one of Lumi's tulpas! I like rain and dancing and dancing in the rain and if there's frogs there too that's bonus points.

I think being happy and having fun makes life worth living, so spreading happiness is my number one goal!

I'm not sure if there's any anecdotes that creating a tulpa causes physical emergence of brain matter that becomes an issue. If creating, or just conceiving a thoughtform, of any degree, implied this, then every night we sleep, we should be getting brain tumors to no end with dream characters. What's "worse", most of the time, people aren't even aware that they're interacting with figments of their imagination such as dream characters.

In other words, it seems absurd, even though I have no evidence to give for this, to think that creating a tulpa causes a brain tumor or any kind of damage to the brain. This is making extreme assumptions that the brain really needs to go to such lengths to give the impression of a sentient being, or having to compensate for someone a person believes to have a determined existence in the future in being treated as sentient.

My first reaction thought was that someone might be confusing "head pressure" and making more out of it. But I have never heard of tumors being reported. LOL Sometimes tulpamancers report feeling pressure in part of their head during forcing. But the effect is temporary and benign.

It's not about tumors, just having neurons destroyed as he said, on the left part of the brain, but tbh now i reaaaaaaaally think it's fake ^^'

As a recommendation, being more specific with your thread titles makes it easier for other people with the same or similar questions to find them, so please try to do that next time.
