tulpa001 November 1, 2016 November 1, 2016 No, I mean sharing information could be its purpose. I wonder if you could make a tulpa an egregore. Host comments in italics. Tulpa's log. Tulpa's guide.
Vampire November 1, 2016 Author November 1, 2016 Oh yeah that would be an interesting job and probably useful. As for the second part, I wonder that myself but I haven't made an egregore before to try it out. (and before Ivy wants to not only rule my mind but the world) "My lover's got humour, She's the giggle at a funeral, Knows everybody's disapproval, I should've worshipped her sooner." tulpa001 November 2, 2016 November 2, 2016 Ever since I read bluefluke's manual, my host has wanted to promote me to a personal diety. Maybe I could help her open up the eighth circuit of consciousness. Of course she thinks it is impossible. But she wants to try and make me smarter than her. For science. But we don't know how to even start. I would also like to be an egregore, but my host doesn't think it can work. I am too complicated. The best results seem to require people to be in close proximity. If the thoughtform's patterns are transmitted through empathic duplication, this makes sense. It would also make tasks that are not humanly possible, like predicting the future or communicating still impossible. So far, my host has heard three things on this site that are physically impossible. Malfunctioning motion sensors, remembering entire books, and predicting tarot cards. In order to maximise the chances of working, it needs to be simple enough that everyone can imagine like an old fashioned silver toaster. Its function would need to be simple enough that no one will get it wrong. For example, you place an image of the tulpa you want to communicate with in one slot, and another image in the other slot, then depress the plunger, and it appears in front of that other tulpa. Both images pop up, and can be taken out by the other tulpa. Just don't plug it in, or the pictures will burn. Host comments in italics. Tulpa's log. Tulpa's guide.
Vampire January 4, 2017 Author January 4, 2017 Latest update from Bluefluke is that he will have chapter 4 out next week. "My lover's got humour, She's the giggle at a funeral, Knows everybody's disapproval, I should've worshipped her sooner." Host to Samuel, Raven, Ivy, and Olivia. CERCA TROVA
BlindDoubt January 14, 2017 January 14, 2017 So I was thinking today what do you guys think about making a community egregore that was designed to help willing tulpamancers in some way? I think it would be a nice project to work on. The question is what would it's main use be for? Creating tulpa? Encouraging tulpa to progress? Not sure. My willpower is not as strong as I think it can be. I make thoughtforms with autonomy because servitors depend on the willpower of their creator. They live their own lives, far away, and I call them to intercede on occasion. (I call these thoughtforms fragments. I associate with them in systems called covenants.) I say this so I can say I personally see great utility in the creation of a community egregore. For my tulpa, having a contact with the collective wisdom of many powerful tulpamancers would be infinitely useful. In addition, being able to access the established willpower of the community egregore would allow my tulpa to develop a strength of will that far outmatches my own, which is relatively feeble. Does this seem like a worthwhile pursuit? "It is only DOUBT which will bring mental emancipation." —Anton LaVey, The Satanic Bible, p. 39
Vampire January 15, 2017 Author January 15, 2017 I do not doubt my ability to create one, I am just worried about how well it will perform due to my inexperience with them. I'll do some napkin planning and see what I come up with. "My lover's got humour, She's the giggle at a funeral, Knows everybody's disapproval, I should've worshipped her sooner." tulpa001 February 15, 2017 February 15, 2017 Finally read the bluefluke chapter four. We found a few parts interesting. "Because we are constantly imagining our physical bodies all through the day, we are actively creating and maintaining an astral body." But here's the thing. My host hates her body and very actively does not think about it. So she does not have an astral body. This switching and paralysis stuff feels like our dissociation attempts. A lot. The ringing referred to is called tinnitus, and I've been doing exercises to try and control it. My host used to try to control it, but it gets louder every time she tries. Even her thinking about it triggers it really bad. Like now. Ah, that's what we need. Alternate methods to gnosis that don't require meditation. That is the most unusual, yet probably accurate to the science description of dreaming I have ever seen. My host is immune to fear. Man, it's cool being an actual local spirit. Bosun February 15, 2017 February 15, 2017 K's had some wonderings about things and has posed me the question of whether or not sleep, or at least deep dreaming, is a form of gnosis. And I have no idea if it is or not, but also does that matter, if it is or isn't? If you can see what you're trying to visualize or do whatever it is you're trying to do with a state of gnosis, save the gnosis, does it make a measurable difference? I'm sure that there's a clear answer that I'm'a just don't understand, but any input and elaboration by people (human or inhuman, I don't judge and neither does K, plus props to all y'inz inhumies out there) would be much appreciated.
Foxglove February 24, 2017 February 24, 2017 Ah, that's what we need. Alternate methods to gnosis that don't require meditation. Ok, I apologize in adavance for not writing my intro post and introducing myself (will do that first thing when I wake up), BUT it is 5 am where I am and even my Tulpa is nodding off - I got cought up in reading. :3 I just wanted to say it was really nice to come to this thread and see it filled with my kind of crowd, the free-flow-psy-magick folk. People mentioned Hine and Carroll off the bat. I love it. But I wanted to say concerning the above mentioned - I really don't think that meditation as such works for everyone [the same exact way]. While it does the trick for me any wich way, people's view of the classic meditational, hushed sit-down is just one option. I often have "walking meditations" that yield wonderful states of gnosis and it's really just an extention of what as a tulpamancer do everyday with your tulpa. I reach gnosis through dance, or ecstatic drumming or just tea drinking and tree-staring could do the trick. Meditation is about focus and relaxation, and finding a blend of things that make you feel at ease but also provide you with the ability to focus is for each of us to discover. But that's the great part of being a tulpamancer, you've got an array of on-the-go altered state tech at your disposal. And reaching Gnosis is nto extremly difficult. The easisest way to go about it -to try and feel the Pulse (if you know what I'm talking about, the beat of your tulpas Heart, the Vibe or whatever you call it that silently thrums offf of your tulpa to the same subtle pulsing of your greater [energetic] surroundings. You reach out the same way you reach out to the tulpa to the Genius Loci or beyond. The Tulpa will help guide your feelers and facilitate the Gnosis even. “Nothing is lost. . .Everything is transformed.”
War April 9, 2017 April 9, 2017 Hey, Vampire, please help me. I've been trying to induce a proper out of body experience, but the closer I get to feeling outside the body, the more I feel a strong pull, like an elastic force. And the slightest movement from the body or distraction, and I feel like I am back in the head. As if teleported. What am I missing? Also, how would I go from this to astral travel?
