I've been lurking in the forum for about five days and yesterday after reading a ton of guides I decided to make my own tulpa and create an account to this forum in case I had any questions. So as I was forcing yesterday night I heard a faint, hi-pitched "Aah" as If someone was scared. It lasted for about a second. For half a second I thought to myself "oh why are you scared" as If it was completely normal to hear a voice out of nowhere and the other half a second I got spooked because I realised that it wasn't normal.

Reasons why I think it was my tulpa:

- I was just about to loose focus and accidentally let a scary image enter. And one trait that I have chosen for my tulpa is to be scared by ghosts or scary stories so that may have been a reaction?

Reasons why I think it wasn't my tulpa:

- I just started and this was the second forcing session I had that day (the previous was about 15 mins and this one was 25 mins).

- I don't think it's that easy to hear your tulpa's voice so early.

- And when I asked If it was her I got almost nothing, the only thing I felt was a slight pulse in my head which might have been my blood pumping faster cause I was scared.

Please tell me if I'm just crazy or it was my tulpa.

(Sorry for the bad grammar I'm not very good at english)

I'd be guessing. I think anyone else would too.

Oh, you're not crazy. But it could be just a random sound.

Heavy emotion from your tulpa greatly increases the chance that they break through. So. Could be.

It is entirely possible but it's too early to tell.

However don't take this as a reason to binge watch horror movies.

She's the giggle at a funeral,

Knows everybody's disapproval,

I should've worshipped her sooner."

You aren't going to get any clear answers with a question like this, unfortunately. Try not to worry about whether something is coming from your tulpa or not - if you want to attribute these potential responses to your tulpa, go ahead and do that, but focusing on giving your tulpa attention is more important than picking "real" responses out of the sludge that is your mind.

Focusing on specific personality traits will greatly reduce development time.

One interpretation of tulpamancy is that you're creating a group of thought patterns and then giving that group a name.

Essentially that's all a host is: a group of thought patterns with a name, inhabiting a body.

It's good that you recognize what is considered normal- you'll have to leave normal behind if you want to progress and recognizing it is the first step to letting go of it.

Best of luck to you!
