Traits Super Genius Unbelievable power to process information No limit to processing power no sloppy emotions Always get correct answers Strong Willed Reader Thinker High Level Mathematician Avid interest in money Good social skills Competitive Hungry for information Highly Intelligent Great Analytical skills Understands people. Tell me are these traits i can use with my tulpa? ALSO My tulpa's name is Ishana its a SHE! Those who stand in the way of virtue shall fail!
QB2 August 2, 2012 August 2, 2012 Any traits work. Even if it's the sort of person you usually wouldn't like, when it's a tulpa, you can usually come to terms with each other very easily. For example, some of those traits could be summed up as "intelligent". "Always get correct answers" is not really a trait, but a skill. There's no way to guarantee your tulpa will be great at getting answers because it only has as much skill as you do.

"Always get correct answers" is not really a trait, but a skill. There's no way to guarantee your tulpa will be great at getting answers because it only has as much skill as you do. Yes, this is also something to consider, I would suggest trying to whittle down what you have here to the most basic of traits, rather than complex ideas like "always gets right answers". Keep asking yourself "why is he like this?" What would you suggest? I can't really suggest anything, everyone is different, what would make a great tulpa for me would suck for a lot of other people, possibly including you, and vice versa. Please understand that tulpae are not just "sub-conciousness-machines" that help you with your work, they are personalities. Persons. Real persons. They will most likely stay with you for the rest of your life. Making a tulpa just for the reason of boosting your productivity is considered an ulterior motive by the majority of this community. Don't we all have ulterior motives for making a tulpa? I want a tulpa like this so she can rub off on me and make me a better person. Therefore making her and my life better. Your defined goal seems to be material success, while my defined goal is having "the best possible friend I can ever have in my life". I don't want to force my opinion on anyone, but your intention doesn't seem right to me. Your motive to create a tulpa primarily seems to be unlocking the full potential of your mind, but for me, that's not the purpose of a tulpa (besides, there are plenty of other ways to achieve what you are trying to achieve). I want my tulpa to be a fully developed personality, not inferior to me, but "beside" me. She will always be inferior to you since she will never have a body or mind of her own. TulpaCouple August 2, 2012 August 2, 2012 It's understandable to have some excitement over the idea of a being who could help us, but you really should keep in mind your tulpa's desires as well. I knew my tulpa could be there to help me through things, and I know my fiance's tulpa has been there to help him through tough times and has become a personal trainer of sorts--and can do anything a servitor can and more. But our tulpae are friends first. It's like a friend in every sense. You might have a smart friend who you know will study with you and help you make better choices, but you don't go making friends to cheat off of or to improve your social status. But if you do, they tend to find out and don't take too kindly to that...With a tulpa, they WILL know, because they will know your memories and thoughts. If you do want all these things you need to make sure you think of it more like a partnership, not a tool. You and your tulpa against the world. But you will also need to be understanding if they don't want to help you with your homework. They have their own desires and dislikes as well. It's possible you are in this for more than you are describing, maybe you are coming off too strongly. But maybe you are just looking for more of a tool to use. I don't know. Be aware, your tulpa can't be smarter than you. Your tulpa may be better at focusing than you, better at memorizing than you, but will operate on the same level you do. If your tulpa takes these traits and becomes highly intelligent, that's great because she will likely want to learn with you. But.. "Always gets correct answers" might be a bad idea as a trait, because what if the answer YOU know is not correct? Then she is wrong and that could cause some serious emotional damage. But this feels like just a piece of her. I would cover almost all your traits into one umbrella trait. Basically her intelligence center of her personality. All the ways she seeks knowledge, etc. But this doesn't define an entire person. I would go further. Describe more about what she is like socially. You are going to be around each other for a long time. She's going to be as fully real in regards to emotions and thoughts as you, she's her own consciousness. Just be aware of that. Like I said, I knew my tulpa may be able to help me study, especially since his personality means he is very interested in the same things I am interested in/studying for school. But I knew that if he were to never want to, I would be alright with that. He is a friend to talk to and someone to listen to and bounce ideas off of. Maybe read up on some progress reports while you try to imagine her personality. Even if you design her as a robot or android, she will be a human emotionally, because she comes from yourself. She will have the same desires innate to any other person and her own ideas as well. I think you would have a lot to gain from a tulpa, and I think they are a wonderful addition to anyone's life. Don't think about any of this as saying you can't get what you want. In all likelihood your tulpa will be willing to help you out and think things over with you as they are going to be interested in what you are doing and they tend to want to be helpful. But if being a tool was her reason for being born, expect a depressed tulpa who may not be around very long. She will always be inferior to you since she will never have a body or mind of her own. Her body may be a mental one, but it's still a body. But really, she will have a mind of her own. They are a separate consciousness, not a lesser one.

But if i do doesn't that make her life better? So technically me using her like a tool makes both of our lives better. Incorrect. While she will not have a physical body, she will have a body that feels physical to her. She won't notice a difference, apart from her not being able to manipulate the physical world. It's possible for a tulpa to possess my body and directly control it, although we did not make it that far yet. As for the mind: That's the whole point of it! The tulpa IS an independend mind within your subconciousness! A tulpa is a second processing process, and thus completely on level with me. So she is a mind within my mind, therefore its like a employee starting a business in my corporation?
