Are these good traits for my Tulpa?

A tulpas mind can never be greater than your own. Also, a tulpa is not a mind within your mind, it's a mind next to your mind! (I don't even know why I bother to write this again, seeing that I did this at least 3 times before)

 

But that picture makes it look like its a mind within your mind. I guess i misunderstood.

Look at it like this: Your body has a bunch of sensors, registering smell, touch, haptic feel etc. Let's call everything that those sensors register "sensory input". This sensory input is sent to your brain, where it is processed. And the "processor" is essentially what determines your personality. Your "processor" decides how to react to which sensory input. That's all that makes a mind. Now, a tulpa is nothing more than another processor in your brain. The sensory input that your body sends to your brain will now be processed twice, one time by you, another time by the tulpa. The tulpas personality will of course be different from your personality, so the results of the processing will differ.

Nah, you just should work on your intentions. Some people start of with "I want to make a tulpa just to have sex with it" or "I want to make a tulpa to help me with my homework", but they eventually understand what a tulpa really is and start working on it. Keep reading everything this site has to offer, make up your mind and then decide. Making a tulpa is a pretty life-changing thing, and you shouldn't decide hastily.

If all you can think about is using the tulpa to get money or power, then you really shouldn't. It's like you said, that's like having a baby just to raise it as a slave to do shit for you.

Unless you can understand that companionship is more than enough of a reward for your 100+ hours of forcing, then there really isn't much in it for you. You can try to make one for money, nobody can actually stop you from doing that, but you'll find out that you wasted your time when your tulpa can't begin with more abilities than you have.

Plus, the tulpa doesn't have to do what you want them to. They're not a mind slave, they're a sentient being. While it's theorized that they will like you overall no matter what you're like, they can get pretty pissed off, and trying to make them into a slave is one sure fire way to get them on your bad side. And you're stuck with them.

You're better off to just take some classes about money management and public speaking. It'll take the same amount of time with better results for you.

but then again , if he gave his tulpa the same interests as him and shared the work or whatever equally wouldn't that work? i don't see why his tulpa should have any problem with helping him if it has the same personality as him. if however he wants her to do his work for him instead of working with him or making it easier for him... then yeah , that's not going to work. Correct?
