TheCaptainGibbs August 14, 2012 August 14, 2012 Okay, before I begin, I don't want any of that "you do it the way you're comfortable with" crap. I need a summarization of the components, how to do them and what they're for. Also can someone tell me what "Sensory Draft" means? Thanks.
Phi August 14, 2012 August 14, 2012 First you should sit down in a way you're comfortable with. Then you need to relax and get comfortable. I recommend sitting on the floor on a pillow with a pillow between your back and the wall you're leaning against. Then you close your eyes and concentrate on your tulpa until you feel comfortable that you have them in focus. Pick a personality trait you you feel comfortable with giving your tulpa, and then talk to your tulpa about it. Tell them what the trait is, how it effects them, stuff like that. You don't have to be in any sort of meditative state, though it does help for concentration purposes. The important thing is that you remain focused, which is easy as long as you remain comfortable and continue to actively talk about said trait to your tulpa. Once you are done, wrap up the session with a review. You should also start your next session with another review of the trait you did last time in order to give yourself a chance to gain focus and as a review for your tulpa. Really, it's so simple that you can add and take things away that make it easier. It's not like rocket science where if you don't do exactly that then it won't work, there is a lot of leeway. For example, you don't have to talk to your tulpa, you can talk to yourself about them. You don't have to even sit down. You can keep your eyes open if you want to. Heck, you can do it while you drive. So, pretty much, whatever you feel comfortable with. By the way, you talk about the traits in order to get your brain to begin to create a portrait of a personality with those traits, give or take some deviation. That way when you begin to narrate, your brain begins to think that you are talking to the person with those personality traits, which gives sentience.
Gbert0 August 14, 2012 August 14, 2012 Hello, I'm beginning to tulpaforce and I've kinda had the same problem as TheCaptainGibbs. I had no idea where to start and how to get comfortable. The way Phi explained things helped me a lot better than those guides. Thanks.
QB2 August 14, 2012 August 14, 2012 Tulpaforce is just a really stupid word for "working on" your tulpa. Phi's got it. Well, one way of doing it. If you prefer a different method, lurk moar. The above post does not contain facts. q2's the host, QB's the tulpa.

What would you rather call tulpaforcing then? Tulpacrafting? Tulpaforging? In fact I'm now going to call it tulpa forging just to be a rebel. Anyways to be proffesional now, I tulpaforce through narrarating events and their relations to desired personality traits. Just talk to it or visualize it or visualize it. I'm doing personality first then we will collaborate on form. I also made a little personality chart on my progress report thread. It helped to be able to actually see the connections in personality. Then again she is my first tulpa and I'm only 3 days in but maybe this helps. Rem ad triarios redisse
Phi August 17, 2012 August 17, 2012 It's called tulpaforcing because you force your mind to adopt the tulpa. I guess crafting and forging a tulpa sounded too dead for people.
Kadoh August 17, 2012 August 17, 2012 A plus to creating a tulpa is that you get to call yourself a tulpamancer. How cool does that sound? My opinions are all subject to change.
Dr.Simmons June 5, 2013 June 5, 2013 Lol nice one phi xD "You are required to do nothing, least of all believe. Shut ones eyes tight or open ones arms wide, either way, one's a fool" -A courtesy of NotQuiteSkeptical "I don't care if you don't believe me, I don't need you to!"
Guest MegaBusta June 5, 2013 June 5, 2013 A plus to creating a tulpa is that you get to call yourself a tulpamancer. How cool does that sound? I'd rather call myself a proto-psyker.
Flexionsensor June 5, 2013 June 5, 2013 I personally think 'forcer' is the cooler term. I don't think anything else needs to be said than what Phi said. Both times. "DUDE! That's wrong! You don't do that! That's like giving a kid a knife and telling him that it's a neck massager!" Shameless self promotion!
