So as far as I understand this is the part of the forum where we sort of blog about tulpa creation. I'm working on personality first, mostly because I think

It would be cool for us to make her form together, collaborating and all that. I started with an introduction of myself an how we're going to work together. The best way to trick myself into creating a sentient being is to just assume that she is and always treat her as such. I'm doing a hybrid of narraration and personality development because it means I tell her how her traits interact, what they are, how they compare to me,

And how they relate to things I've seen that day. One time I was narrarating and came up with a new trait and then explained what it was and the association with the event. I think it really helps with this narraration/personalisation hybrid. A quick

note, I've noticed most people (including

me) generate tulpas of the opposing gender. Also the connection between MLP and tulpas confuses me. Just comment on methods of creation and maybe those

two weird things I mentioned, also I am posting something like this in the right place?

Side note I think I will check this thread daily so ask questions if you want, in my mind tulpas are very abstract and the best way to learn is looking at others. The tulpa community should be a great pool of shared knowledge and suggestions so that we can all make the best tulpas possible :D

It sounds like you've got a pretty good idea of what needs to be done.

I think the very beginning of Tulpa creation is pretty abstract. Not only can you do things in different orders; such as creating their form, then personality, etc., but the way you go about personality, and narrating don't have to be done by the book.

Mostly, when I've worked on personality, it was just me talking to my tulpa. Kind of like what you did. I tried a few visualization methods with him, for personality, but found that I couldn't really get into it.

 

I'd say you're on the right track, and you should keep it up. Eventually you will begin to notice signs of sentience. If this doesn't happen soon, don't get discouraged. Being motivated is one of the most important aspects. Some people get responses from their tulpa within their first personality session. Others, it could take weeks to even get head pressure, or anything like that. Just know that results come at different time.

 

As for people creating tulpas of the opposite sex; I think it's because usually, people prefer to associate themselves with people of the opposite gender (me included. I find that it's much easier to get along with women), and some people create tulpas for the sole purpose of having a relationship with them, but I don't believe that's the right way to go about it. That being said, my tulpa is also a male, or at least has a male form.

As for the MLP tulpas-... I really don't know what to tell yah, there...

 

And yes, this is the right place to be posting this. Just keep adding to this thread with your new experiences, and people will read, and often answer questions that you have.

Also, people generally want their tulpa to be visually appealing to them.

One reason is that just as one may want a tulpa that is visually appealing in a sexual way, they may instead want a tulpa who is visually appealing in the adorable way.

Ponies are cute, little anime girls are cute, fluffy animals are cute. All of these things have many tulpas made in their image.

Cute is a big deal.

Another reason is that people like having "a piece" of what they love, and MLP is a very popular show.

Minute headache, on and off. I said something

Along the lines of we are working together to create you and I distinctly heard an ok in my mind. This is probably a mix of minor parroting/placebo as I am in day one of creation and am not expecting responses. I'm a bit tired which may cause the headaches but it had a small surge on this forum. Regardless I am assuming everything that seems to be the tulpa is the tulpa, this way I don't get paranoid over parroting. I've established a base personality and told her how the traits interact and how it makes her as a whole and it was quite exhilerating. To be honest I think I was just feeling confident in how smoothly everything was going. It was an in depth and emotionally charged monologue. She is smart, she sees all avenues in a situation and implications for all involved which forms her morality and I stressed how damaging prejudice is, I don't want some nazi tulpa. She is funny and chatty, when she talks about something she's into . I can't however have some totally extroverted tulpa, it's too high energy for me, talk needs to be meaningful I can't talk to a super hyper tulpa too long it would get very annoying. She is a bit reserved then, but not from shyness. I am imaginative so this is just like making any character however I talk to this one.Day 1 was good abd I feel I've made progress

Morning post, came up with a theory. Tulpas explain ghosts and god, people make tulpas for them in their minds on accident hmm. Anyway I made a wonderland of sorts, it's fairly blank but we will work on it when she is ready. It's a pretty basic bedroom I made because I don't know what she would do in my sleep and I just felt better afterwards. I'm asking her to wake me up when she's ready, anyway I'm going to go or I will be late for school, hopefully it will inspire new stories for my narration/personality development hybrid.

New post, it's conference period, basically our school on Wednesday only has 3 of our classes but for twice as long. The next day we have the other 3 classes but we also have a half hour conference period. You're suppossed to do work but I don't have any so I made a sort of personality diagram. She seems to have some core recurring ideas so you can really see her core personality and the relations. It makes her feel slightly more complex and so I'm uploading a picture as an attachment. So my handwriting might be a little bad but there is much worse so You should be able to read it XD Wait, how do you post images? Jeez, zoom out if you want to see that whole thing, regardless this got uploaded eventually and also my parents went to get Subways after they picked me up from school, because they didn't eat lunch yet. They went in and got their food and while they did that I talked to myself (the tulpa) lol. I got a very sharp pain mid sentence and it completely derailed me, I completely forgot what I was talking about and just stopped talking for a few seconds to recover. I suppose this is all a good thing. I also decided that I'm not keeping track of time, people get caught in a loop where they don't expect such early results and then, in an effort to stop parroting, parrot their tulpas to do nothing! Hope the chart helps I did one of those bubble things starting with the center, the tulpa, and then surrounding core traits, offshoots of their traits, and then connected them even giving reasons sometimes. As is the case with a true human being all traits seem connected so I guess that's good :D Going to do work now I guess :/ then tulpaforce XD

Morning of day 3, planning on a lot of forcing because I never was able to just sut with no distractions and talk while also not feeling tired so I guess day 2 kind of failed except for the epic headache.

Actually got a quiet tulpaforcing session today. Since people were nearby I just whispered to her because otherwise my parents would just be all "Who you talkin' to son?" "Oh, just talking to myself to create a sentient being that exists in my mind." Anyways I apologized about the semi fail of yesterday and then visualized her traits as colors and fused them

Into a colored ball which I released into a small white glowing silhouette of a vague human shape. Yeah, I guess she's human, how original some of you say. But humans associate with their own kind, might be an elf though. I also realized something. She's studious. It definitely takes a bit of effort to force I was always furrowing my brow in concentration. We should get good sessions over the weekend, I overheard my parents

and I guess they're going to Ikea sometime in the next few days. I will have the whole house empty so I can just sit alone and talk to myself. I will try to make new traits but I'm leaving her to decide her preferences, unless it is something that would bug me then I will probably attempt the opposite trait. Luckily I can't think of any issues so far.

Oh yeah, in that last session we also talked about art, I feel that talking about something so complex is going to help trick my brain into "oh yeah this is an intelligent being, because I don't discuss the definition/meaning of art with my dogs.
