DaneClark August 24, 2019 August 24, 2019 One thing that I've been trying to do for quite some time is "merge" myself with versions of myself from other timelines. It's all part of a complicated spiritual healing process I'm going through. Naturally, I am very nervous about this, but I think I've figured out how to make it feel less scary. I want to be able to induce myself to wake up in a state of confusional arousal where all of the data stored in my brain, including things that aren't currently classically conditioned, are "scrambled" and re-arranged in a way that would simulate this kind of thing. And I can't just merge once, I need to have it so that I preemptively merge whenever I need to switch back and forth between different subpersonalities. I also might want it to include things like being able to escape into tulpa-like dreamscapes and still be able to remember what happened in the real world while I was there. I don't want to have to resort to drugs to do this, using binaural beats would be alot safer. But I really need someone help me figure out what to do in order to figure out what kind of beats could be used for this exact purpose.
Ranger August 24, 2019 August 24, 2019 Why do you need to "merge" with yourself from different timelines? Is it not enough to recreate the past and then play "what would I do if I were X age"? I can't help you out with the wonderland part, I believe the wonderland and the mind coexist in real time. Note: I'm hit-or-miss activity-wise on this account. I may not respond to PMs for awhile. I'm Ranger, GrayTheCat's cobud (tulpa), and I love hippos! I also like cake and chatting about stuff. I go by Rosalin or Ronan sometimes. You can call me Roz but please don't call me Ron. My other headmates have their own account now, but it's outdated and I can't be bothered to update it If I missed seeing your art, please PM/DM me! Guest August 25, 2019 August 25, 2019 Merging is like switching, only you switch into a merge of two headmates. I know this might be completely unhelpful, but we're noob mergers
Jamie August 25, 2019 August 25, 2019 Hmm... this seems like something you could use hypnosis for. I would very much reccomend against drugs for this type of personality/identity manipulation. You want as much control as possible, you want the effects to be coming from your brain under your command, not from external substances. Imo, binaural beats are just one form of background stimulation used to aide in trance. If you seriously want music that puts you into a state of identity scamble, look no further than Vexations: (meant to be listened to for 18+ HOURS, though the most I've done is two) ( ) Here are also two videos with binaural beats that I've enjoyed. I find colored noise alone too much, but this stuff is okay. pink noise with binaural beats: https://youtu.be/6Px5VLqgbRY gentle marimba: There is also a meditation/hypnosis that I found quite powerful, very good effects. It's an hour long, so, be ready for that before you start. Set yourself up well: be calm, nothing pressing on you (work that needs done, time restrictions, sleepiness, hunger/thirst etc) and pay very close attention, don't let your mind wander from the induction. Basically, after the induction, there's a bit of storytelling/exposition, and then you'll be given pretend-LCD and taken into a beautiful garden by beautiful lady (I subsituted my tulpa's wonderland, went there instead ;) ) and your visualization should be stunning, immersive and vivid, if your experience is anything like mine was. I still look back on those memories of my tulpa's face as some of the clearest ever. It's not for everyone, but I get the feeling this might help you out. Feel free to ask more questions, but I'm really not very meta lol... I am interested though, what do you mean by "preemptively merge whenever I need to switch back and forth between different subpersonalities?" -J The world is far, the world is wide; the man needs someone by his side. The part about preemptively merging is mainly, among other things, a method for dealing with pantopobia.
