Tadakisen December 9, 2019 December 9, 2019 So, why the heck do I hear voices all the time and see random shit? Have I finally induced myself to schizophrenia or did I take too many mushrooms?
tania December 9, 2019 December 9, 2019 are you hearing your tulpas? My first tulpa spoke as if outside myself way before I was expecting that or had thought of that. What kinds of stuff do the voices talk about? Jesse (human male) DOB 16th April 2013 Working on imposition

What kinds of stuff do the voices talk about? Yeah, and it's kinda weird cause I can see them, touch them, play with them. But there comes a point where things get a little freaky you know... The point I start to hear haunting voices that seem to come from the depths of hell, or horrible images of people burning alive and screaming of agony.

Is this happening on just going to sleep and on waking up? Jesse (human male) DOB 16th April 2013 Working on imposition
Tadakisen December 9, 2019 Author December 9, 2019 that sounds awful re the haunting voices. Is this happening on just going to sleep and on waking up? I am happy that I finally had the courage to talk about this subject. But yeah, unfortunately I enter REM sleep even when I am sitting, napping or even standing. Seems like my brain found the key for the gate. It's weird.
Luminesce December 9, 2019 December 9, 2019 Tulpas never come on so strong with interact-able hallucinations and whatnot, I don't know that it's necessarily schizophrenia but I guess it could be. You should definitely see a psychiatrist or at least a doctor to direct you to someone, assuming you weren't embellishing. Because really, that's not normal or even just a little abnormal. If you weren't joking about doing mushrooms, well, that's likely your culprit, though it could also be a mix of that and a biological susceptibility to a mental disorder, with hallucinogenic drugs exacerbating symptoms Hi! I'm Lumi, host of Reisen, Tewi, Flandre and Lucilyn. Everyone deserves to love and be loved. It's human nature. My tulpas and I have a Q&A thread, which was the first (and largest) of its kind. Feel free to ask us about tulpamancy stuff there.

What's weird is that it feels so cozy inside my body and I love it, but feels kinda wrong. =(

But yeah, unfortunately I enter REM sleep even when I am sitting, napping or even standing. Seems like my brain found the key for the gate. It's weird. That sounds like narcolespy https://www.morethantired.com/symptoms-of-narcolepsy/hypnagogic-hypnopompic-hallucinations/. You should stop taking drugs and see if that stops this issue, if not you may need to go and see a someone who specializes in narcolespy to see if you possibly have that (see if your dr will refer you to a proper specialist for that). As you are aware that what you are hearing/see is not reality, that sounds less likely to be schizophrenia. This thread should not be in the metaphysical area as it sounds you have have a genuine medical condition and nothing meta about this (that's the issue that anything people do not understand, people put in the metaphysical part of the forum). solarchariot December 11, 2019 December 11, 2019 OMG, there is so much stuff here to explore... First, lets start with "Did I take too many mushrooms?" Ummm, did you take mushrooms? Ummm, the answer is maybe! I always feel like I need to qualify this, I am not opposed to drugs, shrooms, cannabis, anything... WITH CAVEATS. If you're under the age of 18, don't do it. If you're older than 18, there are risks. Legal risk. Social risks. And, I'd like to know how you're doing it? Frequency, quantity, and context changes outcomes. The native Americans have very precise rituals, they don't just sit around chewing shrooms. Interestingly, they have different outcomes than the high school kids that thought it might be fun tripping under the bleachers on prom night. (I get migraines. Shrooms are known cures for migraines. I so want to try the remedy.) Yes, too much is too much. Some of it lingers in your system. People have reported having hallucinations 20 years after initial injection. shrooms are great, effective psychoactive agents. you don't consume it like a bag of MandMs. one good dose could give you a life time of information to unpack. that said... you said "Yeah, and it's kinda weird cause I can see them, touch them, play with them." tactile hallucinations are more typical of substance induced hallucinations than say schizophrenia or bipolar. (That's not absolute, but just saying....) I think understand you, you're finding that pleasant enough, but the voice are freaking you out? The hellish ghostly voices, kind of freaky- but the tactile also sounds like they're a bit 'freaky...' Hypothetically, if you take a shroom, you will likely have an experience, and typically, you just have to ride it out. If this is residual aftereffect, you may just have to ride it out, and thank god it's mostly pleasant... you could have more events, even if you never take anoth shroom ever. it should decrease in intensity over time. Entering a day dream or psychedelic experience, or a 'metaphysical' experience after the consumption of particular psychoactive substance is not truly REM- I am not saying you're not having experience, but this doesn't sound like 'dreaming' per say. Contextually, when using shrooms in a ceremonial way, shamans learn to "travel." the reason for ceremony is so no one travels alone, the guide or shaman helps guide the individual, put place markers on the map and teach you. You're doing it blind and on your own, sort of: the context of your childhood training, in the absence guide, will likely influence your 'experience.' if you were raised with hell fire and punishment, you tend to get that stuff in visions. this isn't a 'bad' thing. Jung would actually encourage you to go there and understand it, and in understanding it you dissolve it. In fact, that's exactly what shamans do for others. they don't always get sunshine and puppies! when they help people, they're helping with the demons in their lives, and they confront scary stuff, and then when they relate the story of their experience, the symbolic nature of their journey tends to result in remedy. can you learn by just diving into the deep end of the pool, sure. That's not how they teach at the YMCA. Promise you. "I agree. What's weird is that it feels so cozy inside my body and I love it, but feels kinda wrong." I think I understand what you're communicating; I am making an assumption that this is erotically pleasant and you're embarrassed? (Or, are you really saying being inside a body is wrong. that makes sense, too.) Anyway, Experience is experience, it is neither good nor bad, but thinking makes it so kind of hamlet speech thing. again, hypothetically, if consumption of shrooms was done in a ceremonial way, you would have a context to categorize the experience so you can better understand it; and you would have guide that might impose understanding. that is usually the whole point of the exercise, exploring the metaphysical extrapolation of your own symbolic experience to better understand your place in the universe and your relationship to it. without a context, experiences are likely to be more free association, unlinked, maybe random, or may reflect in unexplored, or ignored aspects of your being. or you just got lucky, (literally and figuratively?!) I'd say yay, go with it. At this point, it is what is . Also, watch more Doctor Lyndsey Doe, SEXPLANATIONS, on youtube and expand your ideas of sex and intimacy to include more compassion and understanding. Will some people say 'that's just wrong, man...' maybe, but most people will be wishing they had your friendly ghosts. bring light and compassion to those ghostly voices, and maybe you will heal an aspect of yourself. In short, I'd say you're okay. No, you might need a doctor;' not that they could do anything if this present 'hearing loss' is the result of 'one rock and roll' too many, but wouldn't hurt to least have an expert weigh in. if you're in a big enough city, you should be able to get a free assessment. If you're not suicidal or homicidal, no one will keep you against your will. like the others, I am betting this is not tulpa related. It doesn't sound completely unpleasant. I would love to hear more.
